As we prepare for the historic Inauguration of Dr. Anton R. Reece as the second president of WKCTC, we are honored that you plan to share in a celebration of our past, present and future. West Kentucky Community and Technical College is a thriving, comprehensive community and technical college where more than 8,000 students annually change their futures with short-term training, programs geared to today’s workplace opportunities, or courses that will count toward a bachelor’s degree when they transfer. The College offers more than 250 associate degree, diploma, and certificate options in more than 40 academic and technical programs. Students come first at WKCTC with flexible scheduling choices, convenient locations, and dedicated instructors committed to student success. Nestled on 240 beautiful acres at the intersection of Interstate 24 and Highway 62, WKCTC includes 23 separate buildings. On and off-campus facilities have a square footage of more than 652,000 square feet. West Kentucky Community & Technical College’s Student Government Association will be recognizing Dr. Reece with a special celebration and presentation in the Clemens Student Center.
April 21 5:00 p.m. - Doors open at the Clemens Fine Arts Theatre with the inauguration program beginning at 5:30 p.m. The program will include a variety of speakers from Dr. Reece’s present and past. A reception with a Carribean-favor will follow the program and will feature The Steel Away Band. Refreshments will be provided by Chef Patrick Fletcher, Chef Erik Engelland, Chef Jessi Donaldson, Kristen Chambers and Culinary Arts Students
