In 1997, West Kentucky Technical College and Paducah Community College were united under one system umbrella when they joined the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). Six years later, the two colleges were consolidated to form West Kentucky

Community and Technical College - a comprehensive, regional college. In 2003, Dr. Barbara Veazey was Community and Technical College. Each year more than 9,000 students come to WKCTC seeking traditional two-year transfer associate degrees in
