The Cavaliers won for the ninth straight time while improving their record to 10-1 and 2-0 in Jayhawk conference play. The Greyhounds drop to 0-11 overall and 0-2 in the league The Cavaliers led by a score of 30-28 at halftime. The Cavaliers held Fort Scott to 25 second half points while pumping in 42 themselves. 6-4 Freshman Forward Justin Leathers led JCCC with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.
