Emerge from your winter cocoon and spread your wings with the Boulder and Denver JCC’s Family Programs. Designed for children ages 2–10 and their grown-ups, this interactive event will tie together Jewish values and environmental education in a unique Tu B’Shevat experience. Designed for expectant parents, this innovative program combines childbirth education with an exploration of the Jewish traditions and rituals connected with pregnancy, birth and parenting. Instructors Rabbi Jeffrey Kaye (Judaic) and Sue Geissler (prepared childbirth),lead this program created by the Colorado Agency for Jewish Education and co-sponsored by the JCC and Rose Medical Center.Participants will also join the Boot Camp for New Dads and Miracles and Mayhem classes to discuss the anticipated post-partum experience,communication skills, parental expectations and changing identities.
