This class is the next step for getting your little actor ready for the stage! Over the course of the session your child will begin to learn acting as a practice instead of a concept. A great class to begin nurturing your child’s artistic abilities and build confidence in themselves openly in front of others.

This class is a great transitional option for families who would like to take their child’s interest to the next level. Designed to get young actors ready for our very own Wolf Theatre Program which begins in 4th grade, this class will start to give them the building blocks they need in every acting scenario. Together we will work on building your child’s “actor toolbox” through improv, character work, and short scene work to give them a solid foundation that every actor needs.

TEENS (GRADES 6 - 12)

JEWISH YOUTH CLIMATE MOVEMENT

The JCC Denver is supporting the newly-formed Denver Kvutzah (chapter) of Jewish Youth Climate Movement. The JYCM, founded in 2019, is a Gen Z-led movement dedicated to combating climate change and environmental injustice, through a Jewish lens. To get involved with the Denver Kvutzah, contact Daniel Siegel.

JCC MACCABI GAMES

The JCC Maccabi games are Olympic-style sports competition for Jewish teens ages 12-16. This year’s Colorado Delegation is headed to Houston. Spots for this summer are already full. However, recruitment for the 2025 games will start in the Fall. Contact the Colorado Delegation Head, Daniel Siegel, for more information: dsiegel@jccdenver.org

MOVING TRADITIONS: TZELEM FOR TRANS AND NON-BINARY TEENS (Grades 9 - 12)

This Tzelem group is specifically for nonbinary and trans teens. Together in a circle of support, participants experience an encouraging, sacred space. This Tzelem group will gather twice monthly. One gathering will be a learning session and the other will be a Shabbat experience.
