SMALL GROUP TRAINING CLASSES

EXPANDED OUTDOOR POOL HOURS Our members think our outdoor salt pool is sweet! Due to popular request, we are adding lunch-time hours, listed below. Monday–Friday 5:30–9 a.m. 11 a.m.–1 p.m. 4–7 p.m. (Close @ 6:30 p.m. on Fridays) Sunday 8–12 p.m.

Get Downhill Ready! Be prepared for that first day on the mountain this winter! This class is intended to help families, individuals and athletes develop strength and endurance to improve their skiing/snowboarding ability. Participants will have the option to go on a ski trip at the end of the program. Oct. 30- Nov. 15 Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5 p.m. Class will be held in Studio 1 $90/S&F members; $108/guests Register at training@jccdenver.org. Note: There is a four person minimum to run class.

TRX Suspension Training Simultaneously develops strength, power, endurance, mobility, durability, balance, flexibility and core stability. Small group will meet for an intense 45-minute workout. TRX is great for any age or ability. Mondays, 8:30 – 9:15 a.m. Tuesdays, 5-5:45 p.m. Wednesdays, 10:45-11:30 a.m.


PILATES

Core Bike Conditioning Build Your Stamina & Core Strength in this six-week session. Led by certified Pilates Instructor Jen Duffley each 75 minute class combines Spinning with Pilates. You’ll work your body through cardio and strength challenges, fine tuning of the intrinsic muscles, and engaging proper posture on and off the bike. Half of class is on the spin bikes and the other on Pilates Allegro Reformers. Participants must have previous Pilates Allegro experience. No spin experience necessary. Holiday Power Pilates Certified Pilates Instructor Jodi Brinkman leads this 75-minute Pilates class designed to burn more calories with a higher intensity workout. This mixed levels class incorporates all the apparatus and props in the Pilates studio to help you avoid “holiday flab”. Participants must be regularly attending at Level 1/2 Allegro group classes or receive Instructor clearance. Meet Our Newest Pilates Instructor, Sharon Oh-Willeke

Introductory Pilates Ski Conditioning/ Circuit Training These sessions are sure to give you the tools you need to give you the BEST SKI SEASON yet! Taught by Samantha Tanenholtz, Pilates instructor and former competitive skier. Make use of the Allegro, jump boards, Tower, chair, BOSU, rotating disk and other tools for leg strength, balance, endurance and core strength.

Please welcome our newest Pilates Instructor, Sharon Oh-Willeke, to our team. Sharon (pronounced Shareown) will be starting by offering Private sessions and subbing classes, both mat and equipment. She comes from a Classical Pilates approach, and she is eager to learn our styles and adapt to new challenges. You may see her soon in one of your classes, taking or substitute teaching.
