Family Programs Rosh Hashanah Apple Picking

Families with children 10 and under (siblings welcome)

Bring the family out to Mills Apple Farm in Marine, IL for a morning of apple picking, a craft project, snack and a demonstration from a beekeeper. Enjoy the Sukkah City exhibition at Washington University and then the kids can build a mini sukkah of their own! Sukkah City STL is an ambitious contemporary design competition that challenges participants to re-imagine the traditional Jewish Sukkah—a small, temporary structure erected each fall during the weeklong festival of Sukkot—through the lens of contemporary art and architecture. This program is co-sponsored with the St. Louis Hillel at Washington University. Hands-on Hanukkah

Together Time – A New Kind of Mommy and Me Class Children and adults will enjoy this new class that will provide playtime for the children while the adults come together to discuss various parenting topics such as teaching responsibility and independence, potty training, communicating with your child, fun and educational activities to do in your home, discipline and more. Each class time includes snack, circle time and hands on activities for the little ones. No class 11/28. SFC is for children 4 – 15 months while Fox is for 15 – 24 months.
