NJT’s Theatre Kochavim Anansi and the Moss Covered Rock
K-2nd grade By Ron Fink and John Heath Based on a West African tale, Anansi and the Moss Covered Rock is the story of a very tricky spider that discovers a magic rock. Tweens & Teens NJT’s Teen Theatre Twelfth Night 6th-10th grade
By William Shakespeare Adapted and Abridged by Andrew Biliter A more contemporary adaptation of Twelfth Night but with some Shakespearean rhyme and meter preserved. Viola is shipwrecked and thinks her twin brother, Sebastian, is dead. Disguising herself as a young man (Cesario), she enters the service of Duke Orsino who thinks he is in love with Olivia. But because she is mourning she refuses to see any suitor for seven years. In the meantime, Viola has fallen in love with the Duke. Combine with a comic subplot, mistaken identities, love triangles and trickery, Twelfth Night is one of the first and best comedies in the world. Musical numbers have been added to extend the fun! No previous experience needed, and all who audition are cast. Please email or call ahead to reserve a time slot.
