Dear Members and Friends,
Youth & Family
It’s hard to believe another season of J Day Camps and Camp Sabra has come to an end. We saw record-breaking numbers this summer at Camp Sabra, which reinforces our belief that Jewish residential camping is truly impactful. I love knowing that hundreds of children across all our campuses, were able to make new friends, let their creativity blossom, and create amazing memories that will last forever. While camp and our other summer activities wind down, there is some comfort in knowing that some of our beloved routines are just around the corner. It’s a time to reconnect. It might be time to get back into that fitness class you attend while the kids are in school, select your preferred dates for any of our New Jewish Theatre productions or attend our highly acclaimed Jewish Book Festival this November. As we rediscover our routines, I hope you will take a moment and look through this guide. We offer hundreds of programs each year; maybe there are a few that will be of interest to you or someone in your family. For example, we are expanding our Family Center opportunities with several programs for new and expecting mothers which will be led by Leah Frankel, a licensed clinical social worker and certified lactation specialist. What a great way to connect with other new mothers and share the experiences of child-rearing in a loving and supportive environment. From our social services to sports to special events and more, there is something for everyone at the J. We know there’s a community here for everyone. With the Jewish high holidays upon us, we join you in taking time to reflect on the past year and contemplate the future. We are who we are in great part because of you – our members and guests. Thank you for helping us further our mission to Enrich Lives, Build Community, Promote Inclusivity and Create Meaningful Jewish Experiences. Thank you for your membership and participation. Shanah Tovah. Happy and Healthy New Year!

Group Training is Easier than Ever! SMALL GROUP TRAINING Why small group training?
Small group training offers an affordable path for clients to take advantage of a trainer’s expertise – while keeping the fun and competitiveness of a group dynamic. Groups generally never exceed 10 participants which allows for one-on-one instruction when needed, but still offers a high-quality workout with additional motivation you’re your fellow group members. Workouts are tailored to different equipment, body weight, purpose, and more, but all are designed to provide significant benefits. The J has several options as you find your path on your fitness journey. We want you to discover what works for you, so try a class, meet other members, and find what motivates you! You'll love the results!
