In hard times, the veracity of one’s leadership is tested the most. The aptitude to endure and to act decisively are measured especially in great circumstances. As a leader, these trying times reveal how far one can go and what he can do for others before himself.

The year 2020 served as a great obstacle for everyone. It was a period of drastic change, setbacks, delays and even loss. I could say that being the 2020 Local Organization President of JCI Dagupan Bangus has been a great challenge for me. However, I believe in the unstoppable power of a heart that desires to help and lead, and this has been my driving force throughout my term as President; having the goal to do more, help more, and to heal as one. I believe we can all relate to having a lot of cancelled plans in the past year. I have envisioned a lot for my term that I did not get to execute due to this global crisis. However, I can still proudly say that 2020 has been a fruitful and victorious year for JCI Dagupan Bangus and to everyone. The JCI Dagupan Bangus legacy of service and social responsibility carries on no matter what obstacle, and will continue to carry on for the many years to come.

My presidency is a chapter of my life that I would always cherish. I am eternally grateful to serve and lead together with efficient and active individuals from JCI Dagupan Bangus family who never cease to support and extend help. One year to lead would never be enough for me to inspire and to be of service to the people. I believe that this is a lifelong responsibility that I will always carry and pass on to generations having the same advocacy.
