“I WAS NOT YET DONE UNTIL IT WAS DONE WITH A GAVEL, A BRONZE STANDARD OF EFFICIENCY, AND A 1 STAR IMPACT AWARD.”

The day I accepted the challenge to gather membership for this chapter, there was a huge hesitation in my mind. Despite all my experiences in this organization, I still needed to believe in myself. After a year of struggles, ups and downs with all of you good people, our ladies in Dagupeñas, I have done more than expected.

I am a proud member of this local organization, the JCI Dagupeñas Chapter, because of its members and their exceptional way of leadership! I salute you all!

I was not yet done until it was done with a gavel, a Bronze Standard of Efficiency, and a 1 Star Impact Award. I am now leaving my position and have passed it on to a person, who I know can do more and will continue what we have started. I would like to quote one of our JCI values: “We believe that faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life”. This is the purpose which God has given meaning to me, when I decided to lay all my worries in my faith to him.

The JCI value, “That the brotherhood of man, transcends the sovereignty of nations” is seen when we gather these ladies to become our members. We did not hesitate to adjust whatever differences we have, but we collide and work together for this success.

Furthermore with, “And that service to humanity is the best work of life”; I have done my leading in this chapter for you, my dear members of Dagupeñas, but I am not yet done in supporting all your endeavors in this organization.

Lastly, let me leave you with this caption, “A leader is not defined by a position, it’s her service and dedication to mankind”.
