JCI Perlas Pasay’s 40th year strengthened our tradition of leadership excellence. We remain focused on being able to impact and touch more lives and communities. To be better and to inspire our members to serve and be an instrument of positive change.

With the 40th theme, “Perlas F.O.C.U.S (Forty Years of Continuous and Ultimate Service)” as our guide, JCI Perlas Pasay was able to conduct the following major programs/projects:

Paskong PERLAS: 4 Waves in Pasay, Manda luyong, Quezon Province and Bohol.

I am P.I.N.A.Y (Powered, Inspired and Nurtured

Adult and Young Women) Project which has reached 9,884 individuals through 11 projects including: free legal consultation, OB-GYN Medical and Surgical Mission – Pre-Screening, e-Crossroads, distribution of vitamins to pregnant women in Pasay, “Kabalikat sa Negosyo”, an e-Cooking Workshop, and a forum and social media campaign on women and children’s rights, among others.

Project P.I.E (Paper and Ink for Education) to 10 public schools in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Punla.Sibol.Bunga Year 4 where more than1600 trees were planted in Rizal and Bohol and “Pagkain sa Paso”, an urban garden project in Pasay. Perlas B.E.S.T (Business, Education, Sustainability and Thanksgiving) which was launched during the 40th anniversary celebration last July 2020. A thanksgiving mass was officiated by Fr Jerry Orbos, SVD.

Reaching the Unreachable which was conducted through 4 community exchange/projects and immersion.

Oplan Kaagapay Projects in partnership with different non-profit organizations for the victims of the Taal Volcano eruption and COVID-19.

Participated in the JCIP National Programs such as YLEA where 40 medals and certificates were distributed to 4 schools in Pasay and Bohol; and Beyond Prison Walls, to name a few.

Renewal of sisterhood ties with 5 local chapters and 2 international chapters.

OPPangarap Project at the Pangarap Shelter, Pasay with JCI Seoul Korea DongDaeMun.

Hosted and co-hosted 53 trainings and conducted 5 OTIs.

2020 may not be the year we envisioned it to be, but with innovation and resilience, we did our best to make the most out of the current situation.
