The cure for the common “Hot-Spot”! How do you improve on the “Ultimate Street Helmet”, the RX-Q, arguably the most innovative street helmet ever produced? Simple; you make it fit more people!
While outwardly nearly identical to the RX-Q, on which it is based, the Signet-Q interior is a world apart. In simple terms the Signet-Q is an elongated version of the RX-Q, adding 5mm front to back, providing the room necessary for a truly Long-Oval (L/O) interior. This L/O shape can trace its roots directly to the legendary Signet series, the namesake of this new model. The “Q” designation signifies the innovations and benefits proven so successful on the RX-Q.
New Color: Sapphire Silver
The elongated shell and interior liner, front to back, give the new Signet-Q the ability to end forehead pressure and hot spots for riders whose heads are significantly longer front to back and narrower side to side. For head shapes that are longer, but still have a bit of width, the Signet-Q interior head liner has 5mm peel-away pads on both sides to allow the rider to micro-fit themselves without the need to change size or purchase optional comfort liners. The Signet-Q is the result of Arai’s long history of understanding the complexity of the relationship between head size and head shape, combined with the “melting pot” effect, which is most pronounced in the North American Markets.

Foundational feature of all Arai Helmets Found in every Arai helmet continues to be the basic and simple organic shell shape. A helmet is first and foremost an Energy Management System! From ventilation to aerodynamics, shield systems, radio, blue tooth and graphics - everything comes secondary, and none should ever interfere with the helmet’s number-one job of Impact Energy Management! Arai looks to the incredibly strong shape of an egg for inspiration, with the smooth uninterrupted spherical shape transferring stress loads more evenly across its entire surface. The absence of exaggerated edges or protrusions in the shell is not a lack of creativity, but a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the shell with impact performance in mind.
Additional features of the new SIGNET-Q®
Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q. The proven effectiveness of these vent designs made it easy for Arai to simply keep them in play. Brow vent ducting redirected to flow air across the temples, cooling the temporal arteries leading to the brain, then past the ears and out the side cowls. From the DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm each side) the Signet-Q brings all the benefits the RX-Q introduced to this market, but in a distinctively Long/Oval fit.

SAI MAX-Vision “BROW VENT” shield, combines the enhanced field of view of the SAI eye port (with 5mm more peripheral view at each side), with a full eye port cavity to accept the Pin Lock 100% Max-Vision™ lens for larger anti-fog field of view.

Fully removable/replaceable/washable Interior: Comfort head liner, Cheek pads, Chinstrap covers & neck roll pad. Dry-Cool® surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and quick drying between rides.
