Across three languages: the national bicentennial celebration in Georgia is a project enlightened from many ideas of human integration and perception throughout different languages across the world. It is about seen an event throughout different angles and the camera now are the languages and in this specific case study English, Portuguese and Spanish. During this process many ideas and thoughts were fundamentally important. Ideas like “seen and be seen”, “react and reaction”,” perceive and perception”, “seen out of the box”, “to create perception throughout confusion”, “to divide-join-divide-join”, “promoting the encounter” and “cultural integration, and many more… During the process I have realized that had too many elements and the next step was to “edit” and the struggle was to redefine and simplifies the elements of the design used in this process and the questions were very simple: what is too much and what is too less; I found out that in this process I would possible find the answers in the simplicity of the elements and basically keeping the conceptual ideas and redefining the elements of design.

.

“the melting pot” was the new element that emerged in this new phase of the design. “Let's cook all these ideas inside this multi cultural big pot”. Let's make it simple!

.“Statue of liberty” and also the “the torch” are

elements that emerged in this process. It gave me the inspiration for a central element that emerges from the bottom center of the building going all the way up to the roof terrace.

.“The American flag” was a strong element since the first lines of this design. Now the flag emerged in a different design concept” it became the building envelope”. I imagined the flag falling from the sky like a free element transforming itself in many forms along the way down. It is all about freedom now! And this freedom to be reflected in the building envelope. One element serves as the platform for bringing a bunch of conceptual ideas together and the other enables the continuation of the process and at the end it is all about creating an exhibit that promote all the ideas and concepts where people could join, enjoy freedom of life and celebrate like an explosion of fireworks. Enjoy it!!!!!
