Airline Reservations & Transportation For reservations, shuttle services, and other transportation needs, press the “Service Request” button. Luxury shuttle coach service is available to and from Luis Munoz Marin International Airport, for a nominal fee. The shuttle departs from the Main entrance of the hotel. Swimming Pools Our two ocean front pools offer distinctively different experiences in one refreshing tropical setting. For guest seeking quiet relaxing moments, the Adult Pool (18 years old or older) offers a lap lane and a waterfall. Families and more active guests will enjoy the Activity Pool. Watersports Located on the beach, near the Tiki Bar, the Watersports Center carries a wide range of rental equipment for you to enjoy on the beach. Small plants and crustaceans thrive in nearly marshlands. Flowers such as orchids and animals like the Coqui and Iguana inhabit the mountainous areas of El Yunque. Giant sea turtles and hermit crabs inhabit the coastline. Some of the less visible wildlife includes and array of insects that are naturally found throughout the island such as midges (no-see-ums), mosquitoes and sand mites. The effects of their stings are often felt the following day. The use of ordinary repellent will suffice to reduce the probability of being bothered by these insects. Club Iguana Our younger guests can enjoy all the resort has to offer as well as professionally supervised activities designed for kids 4 to 12. Club Iguana offers indoor and outdoor activities that are both entertaining and educational. Full-day, half-day and evening sessions include activities such as building a sand castle, feeding a friendly iguana or creating a picture frame out of seashells – just to name a few of the fun things to do. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the procedures provided. We encourage you to explore the resort’s safety features and become knowledgeable of the emergency exits on your floor. As your host, we urge you to take advantage of the information that follows to ensure your safety and that of your possessions. OBSERVATION VIEWER An observation view port has been provided on all guestroom doors. For your security do not admit persons to your guestroom without first making proper identification. AN resort staff member wear name tags and will identify themselves as a staff member upon knocking on your guestroom door. if you are uncertain as to the identity of the person at your guestroom door: please press the “Service Request’. button prior to opening the door. PRIVACY LOCKS For additional security while in your guest room: we recommend that you engage the -Privacy Lock” on the door. The “Privacy Lock” prevents the door from being opened with any key. Guestrooms with balconies are also equipped with a double locking device for added protection. KEYS Safeguard your keys at all times! Do not leave your key in your guestroom or anywhere else on the resort property or in any public area. Do not write your guest room number on the key if your key is lost, please see the Front Desk Staff immediately for a new recoded key.
SAFE DEPOSIT VAULTS For the protection of your valuables and your peace of mind, we suggest that these items he stored in the complimentary safe deposit vaults located at the Front Desk. The resort cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage to guest property unless it is retained in the safe deposit vault. Please be advised that Puerto Rico law limits the resort’s liability for loss or to your property unless stored in our safe deposit vaults at the Front Desk. Please see the Front Desk Staff for assistance in obtaining a safe deposit vault key for the storage of your valuables. IN-ROOM SAFE Do not leave valuables or money unsecured in your guestroom. Each guestroom closet is equipped with a complimentary digital in-room safe. COOKING INFORMATION For your safety, cooking equipment is not allowed in the hotel room at any time. Our computerized system includes smoke detection devices, sprinkler systems and emergency voice communications via loudspeakers in guest corridors. In the event of any emergency, stay calm, relax and think clearly. UPON CHECK-IN * Locate the Emergency Exits on your floor on each guest floor there is one exit at the end of every hallway and one near each bank of elevators. Locate the two exits nearest to your guestroom. Walk to each exit to help you remember the locations. * Count the doors between your guestroom and the exit. This will help you to remember the distance and location of exits. It may also help if you have to find an exit in the dark or if the hallway is smoky. * Note the Emergency Exit diagram behind your guestroom door. Review the hotel floor plan to familiarize yourself with your floor layout IF You DISCOVER A FIRE * Close all doors if possible close ail the doors around the area that the fire is in to keep it from spreading. Place a wet towel at the base of your guest room door to prevent smoke from entering your guestroom. * Report the fire-immediately. Press the “Service Request” button or press “0”.
