Concept To integrate the needs of tourists and residents, and revitalize local nature and culture. Provide a cultural and artistic space for sharing. People come here just like entering the production line, generally accepting a variety of knowledge and leaving with a new idea of life.

Climate

TURKEY

Due to its inland location and high altitude, Göreme has a markedly continental climate, with hot dry summers and cold snowy winters. Rainfall is sparse and the region is largely semiarid.

Drought 384 mm of precipitation falls annually, 70% of water in Turkey is used for agriculture, but rainfall has decreased by 20% since 2009. Compared to 2016, total precipitation in 2017 was 32% lower. Rainfall accounts for an average of 501 billion m3 of water annually. About 41 billion m3 feeds underground reservoirs through leakage and deep percolation and 186 billion m3 runs off into seas or lakes. (World Water Council, 2003)

Gรถreme is a town dominated by sightseeing. The city center are restaurants and the outskirts are hotels. Local residents are mainly service industries. There is no public facility in the area that can accommodate residents and tourists.

The valley that has been eroded by water and became a small town. Less rainfull make the development of this area grow according to the river. Eroded terrain also makes plants more difficult to grow on the mountain wall. Plants are mainly grown on top of the mountain and fertile valleys. The old bus stop is too small and on the main road. So set up a transshipment center, collect bus station and tourist center is importent. In order to let residents and tourists remember the memories here, I create a lot of public space, so people can communicate and enjoy the culture and nature here.

Using the concept of a pruduction line, I creat a route that most be followed by tourists that linked the city and the place that have the best view. This route will be used everyday not only for the tourist but also let the resident can connect to their traditional culture and nature. Creating more public area can let the tourist and theresident have places to go and communicate.

The Ruin An Oasis in the city.

Dystopia

Utopia .Earth
