Trends are constantly shifting, even the word trend describes a general tendency to change or move in another direction. Thus, it is within a trend’s very nature to change. How is it then that we are able to assume the up & coming trends for Autumn/Winter 2018-2019? A deduction has been compiled from vast research using online fashion sources such as WGSN, Trendzoom, and Vogue.This research combined with a little bit of luck and intuition has led me to conclude the following trends displayed within this report. Pastels will have a vibrance, brights will be celebratory, jewel tones will resemble a performance, and neutrals will have a dark melancholy wistful for the outdoors.

The pastel palette of Autumn/Winter 2018-2019 will exude happiness and cheer. Those who like to enjoy the very nature of relaxation will embrace this palette, they are those who believe whole-heartedly that Sunday’s are for Brunch. The comfort of the colors is reflected in the ease of which the clothing will be styled. A flowing pop of lightweight color embodies the pastel story in the form of a long wistful skirt or billowing tunic top.
