A LETTER TO MY DEAR SISTER To Jacjac | From Jenjen

diamond Dear sister, There are so many things I wish to say to you. Instead of the usual "how much I love & appreciate you” I thought I’d do something more playful. Yes, playfulness, just like us laughing in these photos, it is definitely on the top of the list of things you’ve taught me to embrace. You used to say to me, one of your mottos in life: “why so serious? seriously!” and it used to frustrate me because I felt you weren’t taking me seriously. But that there, was exactly what you were trying to point out to me. Then usually after a moment of silence, we would burst into laughters seeing how caught up we can get sometimes in our reacting to life.

! e f i l y o j n E I love how you never try to make me do anything, In fact, you explicitly said to me numerous times that you hate giving me advices. And that people should not blindly follow what others say to them, even if its from people that love them, because only they would know what their heart is saying. Your casual wisdom amazes me as I would sometimes only realize at a later occasion the value of your advices. I admire your groundedness and your ability to focus on what is in front of you without excessively worrying about what’s to come tomorrow.

Because as you would put it: "HOW THE HELL WOULD WE KNOW?" And so you choose to make peace with "not knowing” and to allow yourself to embark on adventures through the realms of mystery and curiosity. I am truly grateful for getting to know an uninhibited creative soul like you. WORDS FAIL TO DESCRIBE WHAT A GIFT YOU ARE TO ME. You are a grade-A sister who is always responsible. But aside from that you are also a dear friend, advisor, confidant, and most importantly, a kind, wise, fierce-ass lady ready to slay the world with your art that makes people's heart skip a beat.

A LETTER TO MY DEAR SISTER

I mean I really lucked out on getting a sister like you.

One that creates like a magician with the way she brings life to a page. One that celebrates life and dances with me like no one is watching. One that sticks to her integrity and keeps herself down-to-earth and honest. One that gives all of herself and doesn’t settle for less than she deserves.

One that is there to witness my growth and there to remind me to stand tall when I feel lost. One that asks tough questions so I don't make decisions that I would later on regret. One that tells me to snap out of it when I sink into a depressive selfsabotaging cycle. One that shows me the importance The list goes on. (to be continued of virtues and principles. on your next birthday) One that never gives up on hope and trusts in the kindness of helping others no matter how dark the world may seem. One that empowers me to get back on my feet without imposing the need to solve my issues. One that inspires me to be authentic because life is too damn short to be anyone else. One that appreciates my geniusness but does not tolerate my bullshit when she sees it.

POINT IS, YOU ARE FUCKING AMAZING & I LOVE YOU.

I wanted to say all this to you because we never know what’s going to happen in life. And I ain’t about to leave regrets of not expressing my gratitude. Sisterhood has taught me what it means to lovingly support the other without expectation or demands. Thank you for always providing me with sources of inspiration and encouraging me to be more creative. Thank you for showing me compassion, forgiveness and patience even when I behaved in ways that were not worthy of love. Thank you for trusting that I will find my way and sending me off to my adventures. Thank you for being there and showing up when I need your support the most. Thank you for cleaning up my mess espcecially (cough cough). Oh and happy 23rd birthday. *Jeez I am gonna have to start buying you anti-aging face cream soon (seriously).

ALWAYS Be you & fab. Stay positive. Be of service to others whenever you can. Spend time doing what you love.

HEY REMEMBER Be honest with your heart. Stop comparing to others and focus on yourself. Appreciate what you've got. Live in the present.

ASK YOURSELF WHEN IN DOUBT Why so serious, seriously? Why not? Who cares? So what?

OH ALSO Stop complaining and start living. Never stop creating. Find joy in the simple things.

QUOTES OF WISDOM

FINAL NOTE Keep shining sister, remember that you are a star…wait, no, you are a fucking meteorite. SO GO AHEAD AND LIGHT THE WORLD ON FIRE, I’ll be there with you rising from the ashes as sister phoenixes scouring through the sky burning down all the bullshit in this world that keeps us away from love. .

HELL YEAH Fierce AF and thats how we roll. Mic drop.

Lastly, always remember what Picasso said "everything you can imagine is real." So keep crafting your brand of magic to create the reality you want.

PS: NOTE FOR BOYFRIEND Be sure to ravish my dear sister till she surrenders in pleasure, actually don’t stop then. Just carry on because she deserves it and you know it. She chose to give you her devotional love and wild energy so gift her the depth and fullness of your prescence. Remember to love. respect, hono & cherish her.
