A broader description of the project This mini project is based on the story “Knight time” from the book “Voyage 1”. It offers many possibilities since you can relate it to different topics such as simple past and present…, medieval time, monarchies , getting to fast conclusions (sometimes wrong ones) according to prior knowledge (assumptions), reporting verbs, feeling lonely (social aspect), framing questions , misunderstandings / puns , vocabulary, King Arthur, Relation between getting to knowledge and asking, feeling confident to ask questions… We chose to work on vocabulary, puns and reporting verbs. It is a nice story to work with. We hope you enjoy the mini-project and go further exploiting it!

Introducing the word “PUN”: Does the phrase “kime time” look similar to any other phrase you know?” Think of words or phrases that sound alike but are written in a different way. try to think of a phrase in which you might use one word or the other that might lead you to a misunderstanding… Misunderstandings such as these may be also called “PUNS” Look up in wikipedia the meaning of the word “pun”. You can create humour through the use of puns… “So now… do you think this is a serious story if I tell you that in fact, the title is a PUN?”

Publishing: Students productions will be www.wikispaces.com shown in a wiki Evaluation: As the success criteria is that each group should create the video using at least 10 reporting verbs, each group will be requested to read another group’s story and check if the story makes sense and if it has the reporting verbs they were supposed to have used.
