SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment 9205 South Park Loop, Suite 400 Orlando, FL 32819

September 24, 2009 Mr. Jackson Brody Park Experience Associate SeaWorld Orlando 7007 SeaWorld Drive Orlando, FL 32821 Dear Mr. Brody, Thank you for your dedication and strong work ethic as a member of the Worlds of Discovery team. SeaWorld Orlando has benefited greatly from your contribution. Yesterday, there was a serious incident at Busch Gardens Tampa involving the popular attraction Montu. While the ride was still in operation, an operations employee went to retrieve a customer’s wallet, which was dropped on the ground in the middle of the attraction. Unaware of one of the oncoming roller coaster trains, the employee was struck and critically injured. Despite being instantly rushed to the hospital by the park’s Emergency Response Team, the injuries proved fatal. We are now working diligently to prevent any future incidents. As a member of the team, we want you to be able to trust the park environment with your wellbeing. Therefore, throughout the continual training process for every position, we made it and will continue to make it a point to stress safe working techniques. If you have any questions regarding your safety, previous training and prevention strategies, please contact your Human Resources Director Susan Beale at (407) 370-1563 or through email at sbeale@seaworldorlando.com. Sincerely,

Jeremiah P. Chapman Jeremiah P. Chapman Director of Discovery Relations
