JEREMIAH CHAPMAN nice to meet you

“But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant...” -Book of Matthew “Life is not a problem to be solved; it is an adventure to be lived. A man just won’t be happy until he’s got adventure in his work, in his love and in his spiritual life.” -John Eldridge

nice to meet you.

This book provides a brief look into who I am as an artist, worker and individual.

Jeremiah Chapman Son of Brian and Cheryl Chapman Brother to Stephen, Matthew and Kayla Very Italian and Polish (but also Dutch, German, French,

English and probably something else)

I’ve designed this with your well-being in mind as I hope it adds a nice breather to your day! Thank you for our initial contact and I hope this will help encourage a continued relationship. Be sure to take a gander at the pictures I’ve placed throughout the book — all of them are ones I’ve taken and are a nice showcase of what I love. The main things I want to get across with this book is my personality, my skills, my education and my passions. Thinking through my past experiences and when I’ve thrived the most, I figured out the best way to organize this book is to split it up into three areas of expertise.

3 Areas of Expertise: Design, Broadcast & Performance and Strategic Communication. Each of these sections feature full-page examples of my work along with descriptions of my experiences in these areas. I haven’t outlined my exact work experience because that’s what the resume is for! So be sure to look at that at any time to learn more about my internships, jobs and education. I hope you enjoy what you see and I look forward to getting to know you better as well!

DESIGN

I remember loving to look through magazines of dream homes. It’s an odd past-time for a kid but I enjoyed seeing how everything was designed: the pictures, the graphics, the information, how it all came together to make everything seem that much more inspirational. I could sit for hours and imagine what it would be like to visit those places. Soon, I was amazed with logos, book covers, magazines, visiting open houses with my parents, visiting museums and restaurants. By the time I got to college, I couldn’t ignore it anymore and finally began to take classes that allowed me to focus on this passion, and here is where that took me: print design photography web design painting/drawing clothing/fashion event design

Broadcast & Performance

research Television and performance. These two areas are the most discouraging, exciting, testing and unpredictable of any career path. However, I wouldn’t trade my experience for anything. I have been blessed to get a professional taste of the broadcast and performance arts industries and will always be ready to jump into a career that inspires, encourages and influences the masses.

The previous sections have showed my passion for the creative realm. However, I also strongly value the role leadership and community building plays in my experiences with organizations, companies and education. This is strongly shown through my major in Strategic Communications. strategic campaigns social media branding marketing research news releases organization leadership

This is a public relations plan created specifically for the High Point Museum. It is intended to assist the museum in obtaining its goals set in the 2009 strategic plan. The three main areas of improvement that were focused on included: awareness, attendance, and volunteer programs. The improvement of these three areas should greatly help the museum reach its previously set goals. These goals are represented by our tagline: “Celebrate History. Celebrate High Point." This will help the museum become a premier destination for community interaction and historical learning. Client: High Point Museum 1859 East Lexington Ave. High Point, NC 27262 est. 1970 Teresa Loflin, Community Relations Director Loflin handles all advertising, marketing, and public relation aspects of the museum.
