Before we get started, I think it is only appropriate to take a quick look at the most important improvements the new Corvette has made over its predecessor.
Based on the product order of past Corvette generations, the latest Corvette Z06 looks like a completely different beast from its predecessors. The Cadillac XLR was a luxury roadster that Cadillac marketed for the 2004-2009 model years, and it was built-in - in the structure. The XL R, mounted in Bowling Green, Kentucky, was based on Chevrolet's Corvette Y platform.

When the Corvette debuted in 2009, it was still on everyone's lips and it still is today. While that may seem pretty crude for a car that comes from GM today, the Z06 has what many new cars don't have, and the rumors we've heard so far suggest that the race focused daily drivers will be much stronger than the medium - motorized Stingray, which is the most powerful front - engine Corvette in the world right now. To come to the ZR1, Corvette's Zora might be a very different car from its predecessor, but it fits Chevrolet's earlier recipe that the Z06 should be more of a track-oriented car, even if it wears the mantle of the "strongest" Corvette.
