Life’s Reflections Mr. Darrell D. Dixon was born to Carol A. Dixon
Mazique on November 2, 1988, and was reared by Mr. Charles E. Mazique, Jr. He departed life on February 2, 2022, at the home of his mother. He accepted Christ at an early age and continued to walk with Christ throughout his life. Darrell graduated from Craigmont High School, and he went on to attend and graduate from Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee, where he received his Bachelor in Science Degree. His heart led him to help others through the Outreach Program with Maximus and Shelby County Child Support. There Darrell required others to care for their children. He received awards from the previous Mayor of Shelby County and his employer, and his community. Darrell was a person with a big heart who was caring and committed to his friends and family. His life will forever be cherished by his devoted mother, Ms. Carol A. Mazique, his grandmother, Lois J. Dixon, one sister, Christian A. Williams (Samuel), and two brothers, Charles E. Mazique, III and Richard D. Mazique. He also leaves his Godparents, Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Turks, a special friend, Ms. Tierra Garner, and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, and friends.
“Until We Meet Again...” Those special memories of you will always bring a smile, if only I could have you back for just a little while. Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do you always meant so very much and always will do too. The fact that you’re no longer here will always cause me pain but you’re forever in my heart until we meet again.
Love Your Mother, Carol
