Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow.
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles, I’ve only gone to rest a little while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am now, but as I used to be. Because, I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand, in your hearts, I’ve only gone to rest a little while. As long as I have the love of each of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.

Mr. Curtis Bernard Grose was born on January 13, 1963, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Jefferson Grose Jr. and Lucille Grose. Curtis was baptized at the tender age of three at Centenary United Methodist Church in Memphis, Tennessee.
Curtis was a man of strength, kindness, and an unforgettable sense of humor. With his warm smile and uplifting spirit, he brought joy and unwavering support to those he encountered. To My Dad
You may have thought I didn’t see, Or that I hadn’t heard, Life lessons that you taught to me, But I got every word. Perhaps you thought I missed it all, And that we’d grow apart, But Dad, I picked up everything, It’s written on my heart.
Without you, Dad, I wouldn’t be The woman I am today; You built a strong foundation No one can take away.
I’ve grown up with your values, And I’m very glad I did; So here’s to you, dear father, From your forever grateful kid.
To Our Brother
Brother, you gave no one a last farewell nor ever said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. A million times, we will miss you; a million times, we will cry. In our hearts, you hold a place no one else can ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God took you home. We will meet you again somebody I know in a better place. I thank God he made you my brother, while you were here on Earth. Love beyond words, missed beyond measure. Always and forever in our hearts.
