We Miss You Mom

We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday and days before that, too.

We think of you in silence. We often speak your name. All we have are memories and your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake with which we’ll never part. God has you in his keeping, We have you in our hearts.

Love Always, Jeremy, Aysa & Bianca ~

Life’s Reflections

Julie M. Donoho was born December 1, 1962, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was an only child born to the union of Rufus (Don) and Barbara Donoho. Julie professed a love for Christ at an early age at First Baptist Chelsea in Memphis, Tennessee. Over the last few years, Julie became closer to her Savior and was baptized at The Life Church in Collierville, Tennessee. Julie faithfully attended Central Church in Collierville, Tennessee, until her passing.

Julie graduated from Hamilton High School in Memphis, Tennessee, and then attended Texas A&M University and The University of Memphis.

Julie’s career spanned several companies, including several law firms, Memphis Light, Gas & Water (MLGW), United States Postal Service (USPS), and AutoZone. She retired in 2024.

Julie was blessed with three exceptional children. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Jeremy Payton (Tameka); two daughters, Simone (Aysa) Elliott and Bianca Askew; seven loving grandchildren, (Jeremiah, Tamea, Ta’Nya, Jai, Ava, Hassan and Legend), one uncle, Kenneth (Ken) McCrary (Katie); one great aunt, Elmira (Mike) Cathey; a special loved one, Lydell (LJ) Jones and a host of special cousins and friends.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
