Of all the special gifts in life
However great or small, To have you as our Dad Was the greatest gift of all.
May the winds of love blow softly And whisper in your ear
“We love and miss you Dad And wish that you were here”
Deep in our hearts, your life is kept to love and cherish, Not forget. No more tomorrows we can share But yesterdays are always there.
A silent thought, a secret tear Keeps your memory ever near In our hearts forever.
We knew little that morning
That God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Freddie Lee James, Sr., was born on August 18th,1955 to the late Thomas James, Sr. and Lucy Mae James in Marks, Mississippi, where he was the 12th of 13 children.
Freddie accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early. He joined the Greater New Liberty Church under the leadership of Pastor Darrell K. Shack, Sr., in 2000 where he served on the Deacon Board. In July of 2024, he accepted his calling into the ministry. He recently joined Memphis Faith Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Morris Patterson.

Freddie transitioned from his earthly home to his eternal home on Wednesday November 27, 2024. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Thomas and Lucy James; two brothers, JW and Marvin James; two sisters, Dorothy Christopher and Betty Smith.

Husband TO MY IN HEAVEN
I was supposed to spend The rest of my life with you. And then I realized... you spent The rest of your life with me. I smile because I know You Loved Me
Till the day you went away. And will Keep Loving Me... Til the day we’re together again.
My life on earth was VERY GOOD, As earthly life can go But paradise is so much more than anyone can know
God didn’t take me from you, He only took my hand.
When I called out in pain that night, The instant that I died, He reached down and took my hand, And pulled me to His side. He pulled me up and saved me
From the misery and pain. My body was hurt so badly inside, I could never be the same.
My search is really over now, I’ve found happiness within, All the answers to my empty dreams And all that might have been. I love you all and miss you so, And I’ll always be nearby. My body’s gone forever, But my spirit will never die! And so, you must all go on now, Live one day at a time.
Just understandGod did not take me from you, He only took my hand.
We the family of Minister Freddie Lee James, Sr., would like to thank you for the many calls, prayers, and heartfelt sympathy shown during this time. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
