MAMA
He couldn’t have made a match any better to fit the Narrative of what He wanted us to travel through this Journey
I’m so glad you were obedient to the path that was set for you; although you were brave enough to forge your own pathway to claim what you envisioned, a step that some may fret or are reluctant to tarry
I’m so glad that you have shown us that love is just not a word, but is an action
I’m so glad that your outer beauty enveloped the inner beauty of your being
I’m so glad that you were close upon perfection when it came to patience in dealing with life’s challenges that were expected to the unexpected.
I’m so glad that you were able to carry the family as far as you did, then you passed the torch for us to lead.
I’m so glad you expressed to us that we can, when we were not sure that we could
I’m so glad that God chose Patricia Ann Bush to be the Mother of Gwendolyn and Angela, grandmother of Christian, Cameron, Crystal, Gia, and great-grandmother of Kirsten, Kadance & Ava.
We are so proud, grateful, and honored to be the fruit of your life, your legacy.
Mama, we love you from here til eternity.
Your loving family, Gwen, Angie, Chris, Cam, Crystal, Gia, Kirsten, Kadance & Ava
The family of Patricia Ann Bush is so grateful for all of the love and support you have shown us during our time of bereavement. Your calls, visits, cards and prayers have been a significant source of strength for our family. We are truly humbled and blessed. Thank you and may God bless each and every one of you. The Family ~

Life’s Reflections
Patricia was born on December 14, 1942, in Memphis, Tennessee. Pat was the only child of the late Rev. James and Mrs. Irene Trueheart. On May 17, 2023, Patricia answered God’s call, and he sent His angels and received her in her Heavenly Home at Methodist University Hospital.
Pat was brought up and baptized at an early age at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Slay. After college, she continued her faith in the Catholic Church with her husband, Carl Bush, in New York City. She later returned to Memphis and joined her father’s church Prince of Peace M.B.
Patricia graduated from Manassas High School, class of 1960, where she was a faithful alumnus. Pat also attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memories her two daughters, Gwendolyn S. Burton and Angela I. Bush-Moore; her four grandchildren, Christian Burton, Cameron Burton, Crystal Burton, and Gia Moore; three greatgrandchildren, Kirsten, Kadance Burton, and Ava Moore. She also leaves a brother-in-law, Mr. Maurice Varnado, Sr., best friend of 65 years, Freddie Peeples, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
