Last year’s Shore Conference Tournament championship cemented their status as one of the best programs in the last few years. But graduation time means that players move on and forces teams to rebuild with a new group. The Garnet Gulls lose three key players in cluding star guard Matt Farrell to gradu ation from last year’s VTXDG 2Q WKH surface, many hoops fans might think Point Beach’s run in the Shore Conference elite is over. That way of thinking might prove incorrect. Coach Nick Cata nia is one of the best coaches in the state and the cupboard is far from bare.
