Entry Details Local anglers please take all entry forms to Mr Fish in First Tower or post to Steve Mullins, Petit Menage, New Road, Gorey Village, JE3 9EY before 16.00 Thursday 25th October 2012. You can still enter on the 26th October 2012 at the Shakespeare Hotel, but no entries will be accepted after 20:00. Visiting anglers may email or post their entries to elaineprodco@hotmail.com or Elaine Feltham, 91-93 Great Union Road, St Helier, Jersey JE2 3WA, to arrive before Wednesday 24th October 2012. Telephone 01534 885904 – tag collection and payment of entry fee by arrangement. Please send your forms in early in order to speed up registration.
Sinkers Sea Fishing Club Sinkers Sea Fishing Club was formed in 1979 by a group of keen anglers working as porters at Jersey General Hospital. The club is very active. All competitions are roving, fish size limits are strictly adhered to and there is a keen interest in conservation. Surrounded by some of the richest fishing grounds in Europe, the Club can proudly boast Jersey, Channel Island and even British records among the achievements of its members. Membership of the Club is open to all anglers, annual membership costs £12, but is free to juniors under 14. Rules 1.
Fishing may take place anywhere on the island from marks that can be reached by foot (excluding Ronez), St Helier and Elizabeth Marinas.
2.
Only an individual’s heaviest fish will count.
3.
Heaviest two fish to win the Team Prize.
4.
Only 2 Rods with No More than 4 hooks in total.
5.
A Strict minimum size of 3lbs (1.4kg) will be observed by all those taking part.
6.
Fish which are undersized, when weighed, may result in disqualification for the individual and team concerned.
7.
Tags and Registration to be collected from the Shakespeare Hotel between 15:00 and 20:00 on the 26th October 2012, no fishing before 18:00. Interim weigh–in Saturday the 27th October 2012 at Mr Fish, 17.00 – 18.00. Final weigh-in 19:00pm Sunday 28th October 2012 at the Shakespeare Hotel. Buffet (please note limited parking at the hotel, additional parking is available at La Hocq), kindly donated by the Shakespeare Hotel.

Juniors must be less than 16 years of age on Friday 26th October 2012.
11.
Juniors must fish with entered guardian over 18 years of age.
12.
Juniors may take the visitors prize and or be part of the team in addition to winning a prize in the junior section, but may not win any of the open prizes.
13.
A lure is classified as any artificial bait.
14.
No prize will be presented unless Sinkers SFC Committee are entirely satisfied.
15.
The decision of the Sinkers SFC will be binding and final in all matters
EXTRA RULES FOR CATCH & RELEASE 1.
If you enter the Catch & Release section you cannot enter the others (no changing allowed once comp has started).
2.
The minimum size is 50cm.
3.
Longest Bass only to count for individual prizes.
4.
Longest 2 Bass to count for team (2 anglers per team).
5.
Digital photo evidence will be required; photo's must be in focus and show the whole Bass on the ruler supplied by Sinkers.
6.
If the organisers are not happy the photo of your Bass will not be accepted.
