Leading the Way

The backbone of an organization’s purpose is a “why.” Our “why” is simple: to ensure that every business can be successful. We deliver on that promise by executing our mission to promote and sustain economic prosperity in Boca Raton and South Palm Beach County. Since I started in this industry 25 years ago, the Chamber team and I have fully embraced this mission and have committed to the smart growth and prosperity of the business community. That success fosters a strong local economy that provides benefits well beyond our region. The Chamber’s board of directors plays a critical role in creating effective strategy and sound policy that guides the organization to achieve the mission. Its leadership is unwavering and has proved invaluable during some of our more recent challenging times. It is the combination of leadership, commitment and passion that allows the Chamber to lead the way to prosperity.

The Chamber’s mission is carefully executed under the framework of our core pillars—Connecting Members, Advancing Commerce, Protecting Business and Enhancing the Community. These pillars guide us through our everyday effort to carry out our mission. We connect members to create meaningful relationships that positively impact the business community. We advance commerce by providing information and resources to increase our members’ bottom line. Our efforts to protect business have led us to influence and elect those officials who align with the Chamber’s probusiness agenda. And finally, through our commitment to education, the nonprofit sector and the overall quality of life, we enhance the community by strengthening the special fabric we enjoy in our region. The Chamber continues to be one of the strongest business organizations in southeast Florida, leading the way to continued economic prosperity.

We are experiencing a continued growth of our membership, which is a testament to the many benefits the Chamber offers. We continue to inspire our membership with innovative workshops and educational seminars. We create strong leaders through our leadership program, and we give support to the critical nonprofit organizations in our community. The Chamber’s programs are the threads that bind us together and encourage people to be a part of a membership that recognizes the importance of service, leadership and prosperity. We are leading the way by impacting the success of our business members.

As the regional voice of the South Palm Beach County business community, we continue to work with our elected leaders on critical topics such as workforce development, affordable housing, education, and safety. As the largest Chamber of Commerce in Palm Beach County—representing nearly 100,000 business employees—we lead the way with one voice and one mission to create a strong local economy and a vibrant community.

Our region is flourishing, the future is bright, and our horizon is a shared value to maintain a strong business climate and robust regional economy. We hold firm in leading the way to a prosperous future and keeping South Palm Beach County the best place to Live, Work, Learn and Play.
