ESTABLISHMENT & CONSULTANCY Without a legal entity in Singapore, MATRIXX required a vehicle to facilitate the establishment of their Asia operation and initial appointments for the region. With long-term experience in Singapore, RPI provided consultancy services and an interim payroll solution to MATRIXX during the setting up of their Singapore operatio. THE ASSIGNMENT: SALES DIRECTOR FOR ASIA MATRIXX engaged RPI in a search for a Sales Director for Asia to help specialists to drive market share and revenue growth. Initially, an in-depth consultation period established in detail the blend of professional and personal skills MATRIXX required. Based on this initial consultation, RPI were able to advise MATRIXX that they should consider hiring outside of their immediate ecosystem, in order to deliver the ideal mix of skills, regional experience and drive that was needed to implement their aggressive expansion plans.

Specialising in delivering talent for digital innovation projects within disruptive technologies, RPI were able to pitch the opportunity, positioning MATRIXX Software as a vendor with a significant technical USP to a select candidate market, receptive to this type of proposition and the challenges it represented. Close consultation with MATRIXX enabled a deep understanding of the company’s current structure in Asia, their expansion plans and future ambitions to develop the business. Specific skills and experience were needed to drive the invigoration and growth, in order to maximise the opportunities that were apparent in the region.
THE CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE As a trusted advisor to the major players in the global telecoms industry, RPI were able to demonstrate considerable experience and influence in the market place, leveraging an extensive C-Level network to identify the specific skillset MATRIXX desired. The ideal individual was referred to RPI via a recommendation within their existing network. A full spectrum search process, encompassing market mapping and an external advertising campaign, was therefore not required. This considerably reduced the search cycle and the assignment was completed in a matter of weeks.
