Scholarships & Aid Learn about financial aid information and opportunities specifically for KU Edwards Campus students at: EdwardsCampus.KU.edu/scholarships. Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. Staff from Financial Aid & Scholarships are available to assist you. For priority consideration, turn in your FAFSA by March 1 of the preceding academic school year. However, applications can be completed any time. 6

Let’s get started. Complete this checklist to become a Jayhawk: Choose a program. (See page 8.) Get in touch with an advisor. Visit EdwardsCampus.KU.edu/Advisor for more information. Find out if your program requires an admission test such as the GRE or GMAT. Visit gre.com or mba.com to arrange an appointment to take the test. Apply online for admission to KU. Undergraduates: apply.ku.edu/transfer Graduates: graduate.ku.edu/apply Request your transcripts from each college you have attended. Submit any other required material. Check with your advisor to see if your program requires a letter of recommendation, résumé, writing samples, statement of interest or other materials. Complete the FAFSA and apply for federal, state and institutional financial aid. • Go to the Financial Aid & Scholarships website: EdwardsCampus.KU.edu/Scholarships. • Don’t forget to complete the FAFSA application. March 1 is the priority deadline to file the FAFSA. • Scholarship deadline is February 1. Receive admission status. You will receive an email from KU about your admission status. It will also contain your KU ID number and instructions on how to set up your online identity and email account. Plan your courses with your advisor. Attend a new student orientation session. Meet with your advisor, enroll for classes, and learn more about student services available at the KU Edwards Campus. 17
