Dearly beloved, A great river of joy flows in my heart as ink flows from my pen to write about the ultimate need of the hour. From individuals to nations everyone needs it. The whole world is thirsting for peace. Wherever you go in this world you can hear the cry for peace. Day by day there is an increasing need for peace. People are travelling miles and flying across nations and seas in search of peace. Philosophers, religionists, humanists and psychologists have declared that the most basic and at the same time the greatest and the most urgent need of our age is ‘peace’.

The world is trying to ‘produce’ peace using various methods of training the mind but they have not succeeded much. But Jesus does not lay upon us the pressure of producing peace. He does not ask us to struggle hard or toil to produce peace. He promises to ‘give’ it to us freely as a gift. Which my friend is the easiest and the most beautiful way to get peace? Struggling to produce?

Or Receive freely? Let us learn how to go to the fountain of peace and drink peace as much as we want from the abundance of flow from the Fountain of Peace?

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Let not your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

(John 14:27)

Look at these wonderful words of Jesus. He looks at us and says, “My children, My peace I ‘give’ to you. My peace is to make you to live a peaceful life in this world; My peace which can break any sorrow and any pain can resurrect you from every evil power and set you on high in this world.”

Remember, because you go through the cleansing power of the precious blood of Jesus, Satan has no right to condemn you. Just confess your sins to God (Proverbs 28:13) and the divine peace of Jesus will fill your heart and life right now.

My friend! God will fill your heart with peace and comfort you like a mother. Yes! He will make His peace run like a river in your life (Isaiah 66:13; 48:18).

Secondly, we lose our peace because of the problems we face in the society.

When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (for Jews do not associate with Samaritans).”

(John 4:8, 9)

The most wonderful attribute about our God is that He can perfectly understand all your problems. He can not only understand them but is also all powerful to deliver you from all those things that destroy your peace and give you a new life. So be of good cheer (Mark 10:49; John 16:33). There is a strong hope for you in Jesus (Jer. 29:11).

However my friend, there are many things in this world which destroys our peace. Let us identify them and set right with God to live a peaceful life in this world.

Sin Sin is the first thing that takes away our peace. But the good news is that our Lord Jesus has paid the price for our sins to be removed

by His sacrifice on the cross. The blood of Jesus Christ is the price for our sin. It cleanses us from all our sins. So now let us cry out to God to wash us with His precious blood and transform us as His child.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins, and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

Society

Jesus went to a village called Samaria. There He became thirsty and sat by a well. There was no vessel to draw the water out. But then a Samaritan woman came there. And Jesus said, “Give me water to quench my thirst” but the woman said, “Don’t you know that I am a Samaritan, and you are a Jew; You are of a different nationality; you are of a different tribe.

How can you ask water from me?

Can you ask water from this well which belongs to Samaritans.” Yes, Jesus could not get water because of these divisions.

Look at what great evils that divisions among humans can bring.

Jesus was denied even water because of the division among that society. Today may be you have been denied a job in an office because of the discrimination due to social divisions existing in the office you applied for a job. Don’t worry friend, Jesus understands all your problem and the pain it causes

in your heart because He Himself went through that agony and suffering (Hebrews 2:17,18; 4:15,16).

Men may discriminate you and stop your blessings, but God will break these blocks of divisions, perform a miracle in your situations and bring peace in your heart. We don’t need to fight with another man or another woman. These kinds of fights will end only in bloodshed, despair and loses. Our mission is to pray to God and it is He who transforms the hearts of people and give us all things that we need (Rom. 8:32; Acts 14:17; 1 Tim. 6:17; James. 1:17). Jesus will quench your spiritual thirst and transform your Life.

“Jesus answered her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that asks you for a drink; you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

(John 4:10) And then, Jesus looked at that woman and said “Dear lady, you can only give me water which will bring thirst again, but I Jesus, can give you water which will make you never thirst again.” And she immediately said to Him, “Sir, give me that water, that I thirst not, neither come here every day to draw water”. But Jesus said, “Go, and bring your husband”. She said, “I don’t have a husband.” Jesus looked into her life and saw the thirst in her life and said, “Woman, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband.”

We can understand from what Jesus says that this woman was not treated well by the society.

Everybody must have derided her, beat her and drove her out; or may be everyone was living in sin too.

with too. May be she came to the bitter conclusion saying, “No point in marriage, let me just live with him and just live on”. She was so heart broken in her family life. She was thirsting for real love and a true husband. She was thirsting for peace.

Even today my friend, may be you too are thirsty for peace. May be you are in agony because of your spouse. Jesus knows your agony.

The Samaritan woman said, “Truly sir, you are a prophet.” After saying this, she brought the whole village to Jesus (John 4:2830). That woman did face many problems in her life; but her life was transformed through Jesus Christ; thus salvation came to her whole village.

“Salvation belongs to the Lord. His blessings are upon His people.”

(Psalm 3:8) The One who looked at the life of the Samaritan woman, looks at your life also. He will quench your spiritual thirst and set right everything, transform your family life and give you peace. Your problems will be solved through Jesus Christ.

Loved ones “She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet, listening to what He said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made.

She came to him, and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me.”

(Luke 10:39,40) Jesus went through the accusations in the family life also.

Martha invited Jesus to her house and when Jesus came into her house with his disciples, she 6

became very busy making arrangements. The Bible says she was busy in working to accommodate Jesus. She was focused only on serving food for Jesus and so became distracted from enjoying the presence of Jesus.

But her sister Mary was sitting at the feet of Jesus Christ always looking at Him and listening to His graceful and living words (Luke 4:22; John 6:63). Martha saw her and became very angry and she complained to Jesus, “Lord, she is sitting at your feet all the time; she is not helping me in cooking. Do

May be you are filled with anger against society, because people did not give you what you need to get as a right; may be you are angry, because they did not give you a job; you are angry because somebody did not give you an admission for your child in a school, or because your husband did not treat you well, or your wife was not faithful or your children were not

That’s what happens in our life, isn’t it? We are accusing everybody, but we rarely pray to Jesus as Mary did. Because of that, the accusing spirit and the condemning spirit came into Martha, and she was even condemning God. Today is your spirit accusing you? Are you saying, “Only I have to work in the family, and you are all enjoying?”

Remember, that this attitude will only take you away from Jesus, and you will begin to condemn everyone. You will lose your peace.

The Samaritan woman lost her husband and lost her peace. And Martha lost her love for her sister and lost her peace and was condemning her sister, and even Jesus.

In the midst of all these sufferings is there a way to get peace?

Yes, Jesus became our peace (Micah 5:5). Look at what Bible says in Ephesians 2:14-18, “Jesus allowed His body to be wounded and broken on the cross so that you and the person with whom you are angry can become one and reconciled through Him. For you to enjoy the love of all the people and live in peace Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice. Yes, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him.” When the love of God is poured in our hearts we love everybody

and even if they hurt, hate us or cause pain in our hearts, it will not affect us( Romans5:5). We will go on praying for them and loving them and treating them well. We will begin to enjoy living in our society and our nation receives peace (James 1:17; 1 Tim. 6:17; Prov.

16:7).

Jesus loved that Samaritan woman and gave her love even though she refused to give him water. Jesus loved Martha who even condemned him, by resurrecting her brother when he was dead (John 11:44). When we do as Jesus did, all these things shall be added unto us (Mat. 6:33).

Finance “And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head.”

(Luke 9:58) Another thing that destroys our peace is the financial problem.

Jesus said “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but I have no home to call it as my home” to a person who told Him that he will follow Him wherever He would go. Jesus was roaming in the villages and in the mountains.

He was roaming all alone and therefore He knows your agony.

He knows the pain of all those things that are destroying your peace. He knows what it is to suffer in poverty; He knows how painful it is to suffer having lost everything in life. He knows how you suffer in debt; He knows your financial problems. He went through these sufferings Himself as a human. Today He will help you, so do not be discouraged.

Jesus sat in the boat of Simon and preached to the people (Luke

5:3-5). And then he looked at Simon’s heart. He knew that Simon was going through terrible financial trouble. The whole night he had been trying to fish but could not catch any. He could not earn any money; he did not know how to go home without any money. His heart was broken. He had lost his peace.

Likewise may be you have also worked so hard to earn some money but that money is not staying in your hands. It may be that expenditure after expenditure is attacking you and sucking away all your earnings. Or maybe you are working but they are not paying your salary; they are cutting down your salary, job; you are in agony and pain. You have no peace. May be you are saying, “I am working the whole night or whole day, yet I have not got anything.”

But Simon, in the midst of the agony, gave his boat to Jesus to preach to the people. After speaking to the people, Jesus said, “Simon, go into the deep and cast your net”. Yes, my friend; God has a plan, God has a time.

Simon believed in Jesus and obeyed Him. He never said, “If I go fishing in the day, everybody will criticize me.” God may lead you through circumstances which are not natural, but it will be a supernatural guidance. Just do what the Holy Spirit says and give to God your best. Give your offering as Simon gave his boat to Jesus when he had nothing. Jesus led him to the deep and filled his nets with fish.

His boat was full of fish. Then he had to signal to other boats. Jesus filled the other boats also. Yes, Jesus filled the boats of his relatives and friends also. God will fill

your boat and all your friends and relatives so that nobody could criticize you or be jealous of you. He will bless in abundance the company and the office you work with, because of you.

Jesus will show you where you have to go and search for a job; He will show you what business you should do; He will show you in a supernatural way what you should study. Yes, you may be working with your idea, but God has a better idea. He says, “Trust me and launch into the deep. Don’t be afraid, I am the way; the truth and the life. I will make a way for you (John 14:6).”

Today that’s the hope we have in Jesus. The Holy Spirit will talk to you about the plans He has for you. He will lead you to the right persons; He will lead you to the opening and it may be a new and deep experience. But it will bring you fish (unexpected results).

Do you know why Jesus will sufficiently bless you? Because, He became so poor. Through His poverty you and I are made rich.

He will prosper you (2 Cor. 8:9).

Today as you trust Jesus, as you give to his ministry, He will prosper you. He will take you to the new places into the deep. Do not be afraid. Believe him; God is going to lift you up.

Sickness “And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,” (Mark 5:25-28) www.jesuscalls.org - May 2017 JESUS CALLS

Finally, sickness makes us to lose our peace. This woman with an issue of blood suffered much for 12 long years. The Bible says, she went from one doctor after another and spent all her money, but was not getting better. It rather grew worse. She was heartbroken and lost all her peace. It was at that time she heard that Jesus was passing by her village. There was a big crowd, but she was determined to go near to Him. She said, “If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be made well”. She came into the crowd and touched the hem of His garment. Instantaneously she was healed.

Jesus spoke to her and said, “Daughter, you have suffered much without peace because of your sickness. Now, your faith has made you made well; go in peace (Mark 5:34).

Yes, my friend, today the Lord Jesus Christ is going to give you

peace by healing your sickness, disease and take away your weakness by blessing you with His strength(Psa. 29:11; Isa. 40:29,31).

Bible says, “But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities: the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and

by His wounds we are healed.”

(Isaiah 53:5) Today you can have peace by receiving your healing through the wounds and the stripes of Jesus.

God will use you to bring healing to others.

My dear brother/sister, if you want to come out of your sinful life, if you want to come out of your family problem and overrule the problems which come through the society and other people and if you want to come out of your financial problem, sickness and pain and receive peace through Jesus Christ,

now ask Jesus to come into your heart and surrender your life totally to Him. Turn your heart to Jesus.

Your hope in Jesus will not go in vain. Jesus will forgive your sins and quench your inner thirst and will give you a beautiful future, and a blessed family life. He will meet all your needs (Philipp. 4:19). Call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved (Romans 10:13).

Dear friend, the Lord is by your side. He is healing you right now.

He is answering your prayers.

God’s glory is coming upon you in this month. He is giving you brand new organs, brand new life, spirit, future and will lead you into a new way. Just believe Him and praise Him as you receive it now. (1 John 5:14, 15; Matt. 21:22; Mark 11:24).

Read the Bible every day; Pray every day; Claim the promises in the Holy Bible for you and your family (2 Cor. 1:20); pray as a family and Jesus will do great things  for you.

This is the primary thought on the minds of the more than 3,00,000 people who visit the “Bethesda Prayer Centre” every year.

Here is a testimony of a visitor who received the healing touch of Jesus Christ at the Bethesda Prayer Centre I am a childless widow who is living alone in my house. In 2015, when I put on a switch, I experienced a terrible electric shock and collapsed in my house. As I could not walk, my neighbours carried me to the hospital. Since every treatment and medication failed, I was bed-ridden for a year. I required help to even sit down, and my sister came to take care of me only for a month. I was broken as doctors opined that I might be suffering from cancer.

In this situation I wrote a letter to Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and as there was no one to drop my letter at the post office, I waited for the postman and finally after fourteen days I gave it to him and requested him to post the letter. Previously, I used to send an offering of Rs.100/- for Prayer Tower every month. However, since I was bed-ridden, I could not send regularly. One day I sent an offering of Rs.400/- through an acquaintance towards the “Bethesda Prayer Centre”. Miraculously, I started walking without any help in less than a week. Subsequently, on 03.07.2016, I attended the Bethesda Blessing Meeting and there as Dr. Paul Dhinakaran prayed, I received complete healing and the anointing of the Holy Spirit from the Lord. Our God is called ‘Wonderful’ (Isaiah 9:6). This wonderful God, with His mighty hand and an outstretched arm is going to perform incredible miracles and signs in your lives this month (Deuteronomy 26:8; Psalm 136:12).

Therefore you will also see His wonders and marvelous deeds today.

When God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, He performed

Why should we praise the Lord?

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

(Psalm 139:14) Yes, we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God’s hands. So, don’t think you are an ordinary being. “…Your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:3) God has given life to each one of us. We have been created with that life hidden with Christ in God. Jesus Christ said, “I am not alone.

I and my Father are one” (John 10:30). We too are not alone but we have been created to be with Christ.

St. Paul says, “…put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.”

(Colossians 3:10) When Christ comes within us, we turn into a new person. The old things fade away. Do not worry asking yourself, ‘When will my old life and old habits change?’ This month the Lord Jesus is going to change you into a new person.

“Your hope will not be cut off” (Proverbs 23:18). The Lord’s mighty hand and outstretched arm will come into our midst and turn us into new beings. Let us wait expecting the miracles.

“For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ.”

(Ephesians 1:4,5) God created Adam and Eve and gave them authority over the birds of the air, animals on earth and the creatures of the sea, so that Adam and Eve could prosper and multiply. God blessed them abundantly. We too are created to be fruitful and so let’s praise God for creating us so wonderful.

I would like to share with you the testimony of Sis. Kokila, Trichy who fled into the sanctuary of our Lord: “My husband Mr.Senthil was a slave to many bad habits. Due to this we had lot of conflicts in our lives. During this time, a neighbour told me about the Jesus Calls TV programme telecast in Raj TV. I started watch-

ing the Jesus Calls TV programmes but my husband told me not to watch such things.

I replied that it was truly good and gives much peace to my heart. But he forbade me from watching the programmes. One day he said to me, “If Jesus Christ is the true God let Him deliver me from my bad habits.”

That particular day in the Jesus Calls TV programme, Sis Evangeline was praying for everyone. In that prayer she listed out all the bad habits that my husband had and prayed for freedom for those who were in such bondages. My husband who was watching this program, suddenly fell on his knees and prayed along with Sis Evangeline Paul. At that moment as he was praying, he felt a light flashing from the TV towards him. From that day onwards he was totally delivered from all his bad habits like smoking and drinking. Until then, there was no peace all through our 13 years of our married life and there was always fights and problems in our house. But after this incident, as we sought God we were doubly blessed. We had lost everything before we came to God. But now God has returned it twofold to us. We were able to sell one land and in return God gave us two lands. “I am the resurrection and the life” said our Lord Jesus (John 11:25).

When you face problems in your married life, have you thought to yourself “It is better that I die so that there will be a solution to my problems”. Here is a promise for you. God has said, “Because I live, you also will live” (John 14:19). God touches us so that we may be hidden in Him. Whatever be our sins and bad habits God is able to release us from such bondages.

Though God has created us in His image, yet the world is in Satan’s hands (1 John 5:19). This sinful world is full of temptations.

The internet contains a lot of temptations but God will set you free from the temptations and change you into a new person. You might be praying for your husband, for your children and for their salvation. God will surely perform a miracle.

For a long time my father didn’t know about Jesus Christ. My mother prayed daily for his salvation. Finally, she fasted and prayed saying, “Lord, save my husband, I don’t want any riches or anything. I just want my husband to know You.” God saw my mother’s tears and answered her prayers. After my father accepted the Lord as his Saviour our family was blessed. One day, when Jesus went to a town called Nain, He had compassion on a widow who had just lost her son and told her not to weep. Then He went up and touched the coffin and said, “Young man, I say to you, get up.” The young man sat up and started talking to the amazement of the onlookers (Luke 7:11-17). Likewise the Lord tells you, “Do not cry, I will be zealous for you for the sake of My holy name. I will perform a miracle in your life” (Eze. 39:25).

Yes, the Lord will redeem you. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun (Psalm 37:6). The Bible says,

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.”

(Luke 19:10) Whatever you have lost so far God will restore it in manifold ways.

Through my mother’s prayers, God has blessed my family thousand times. There is an end to your tears. The God who blessed us will bless you too. As a mother comforts, God will comfort you and be in your midst (Isaiah 66:13).

WHAT KIND OF MIRACLES DOES GOD DO?

God’s light “Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.”

(Isaiah 58:8) You may be saying “I am not well; I have lost all hope; I have prayed to the Lord, but there is no end to my sufferings; I have waited for so many days that I have lost faith.” Don’t worry. The Lord will save you from all your troubles.

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

(Psalm 23:5) "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him." (1 Corinthians 2:9) Be of good cheer! God will do a wonderful miracle in your life.

Your eyes will not be able to believe it. The Lord who said, “Call to me and I will tell you great and hidden things that you have not

known” (Jeremiah 33:3), God will listen when you call and your healing shall spring up speedily (Isaiah 58:8).

Recently at ‘Jesus Calls Prayer Festival’ conducted at Ambikapur, Chattisgarh from January 13-15, 2017, Sis Leelavathy with fibroid in her

uterus had come for the meeting. During prayer time when the anointing of God came down, she prayed for healing. The Lord mercifully healed her. She did not come back the next day to testify the miracle, but came on the final day of the meeting with all her scan reports as proof for her miraculous healing. This is her live testimony: I had fibroid in my uterus and so I suffered much due to severe stomach pain. I attended this meeting with hope in Christ and as I was praying along with Sis. Evangeline Paul, God filled me with His anointing immeasurably. At that time I felt like fibroid swelling up like a balloon and bursting. I feared that I was dying but the fibroid burst and I bled from the nose. After some time my stomach pain disappeared. The next day I went to

The Bethesda Prayer Centre is being a blessing to thousands of people. Prayer Academy To fulfill the desire of the believers who want to know more about prophetic power and acquire

practical knowledge about how to do a successful ministry, we are conducting the ‘Jesus Calls’ Prayer Academy. The First Batch started it’s training in September 4th, 2016 and completed the training in March 2017. The evening batch training is continuing to happen.

Presently the Prayer Academy Training Classes are happening in the cities of Madurai and Coimbatore. Very soon classes will begin to be conducted in Bethesda and in the cities of Tiruchi, Tirunelveli and Tuticorin. We are also planning and arranging for these classes to be conducted in Telugu and Hindi. These classes are being conducted by the ‘Jesus Calls’ senior Evangelists and the Prayer Academy Team. Whenever necessary the video messages of the Dhinakarans is also played.

The Candidate who completes this training will be awarded a certificate from the Karunya University. A person who goes through this course, besides learning the foundation truths of the Bible and deeper truths of the spiritual realm can also learn how to carry out a ministry successfully. Pray for our Family The month of May is usually a month of sorrow for us to cross through. It is in the same month in 1986, my mother, my father and my beloved sister Angel, while travelling to fulfill a task for the Karunya University met with a gruesome accident in which my sister Angel passed away. Following that on May 24th, my beloved mother Sister Stella Dhinakaran is stepping into another new year in her life. According to Psalm 92:14, let her bear fruit in old age and be fresh and flourishing. The Lord is graciously using her as a blessing to many families by strengthening and enabling her with His power. Please pray to God to give my mother long life and be more powerfully used in the ministry.

Initiatives are taken to start Prayer Towers in the town of Marthandam and Kancheepuram. Please pray for that too.

Begin to hear the voice of God Jesus, the life and the resurrection The power of Jesus in Rajahmundry was felt in the 3 day Prophetic Prayer Conference, February 8-10, 2017 and in the 3 day Blessing Meetings organized by the Rock Church of India, Rajahmundry, February 10-12, 2017.God used Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran mightily and a brief report with testimonies was published in the April edition, and it was a blessing for many.

Touch of God My mother and my husband used to call me Ammu. On the 2nd day of the Prophetic Prayer Conference, from morning I was praying for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. All the others were receiving but not me.

The doctors have advised me that I should not have children because I am having liver problem. But now, when my name was called, I felt so happy at this revelation from God’s servant.

As Sis. Evangeline was leaving the premises after the meeting, I rushed to her and held on to her tightly. Immediately she stopped. At that moment itself, the Lord filled me with His Holy Spirit from top to bottom. My body shivered and I could not control myself. I received a new experience . The Dynamic Kids Camp is an innovative initiative aimed to teach children about the love of Jesus. A unique blend of singing, games, activity time and story time, rounded off with a time of prayer, it has been yielding significant fruit year after year. Here is a testimony of a parent regarding her daughter who attended the Dynamic Kids Camp 2016 held at Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu.

We come from a family who have not tasted the love of Jesus Christ in our lives. P. Sarah (2013–2017 B.Tech. Biotechnology), Department of Biosciences and Technology “For I know the plans I have for you” says the lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Though I had many different plans to choose my course, God made me to join B.Tech –Biotechnology in Karunya University. My stay in Karunya University was an amazing experience filled with God’s abundant blessings. In Karunya God moulded me in a perfect manner and started using me for His glory in many ways. As the Bible says in Lamentations 3:23, “His mercies begin fresh each day”, the morning counselling sessions served as a good start for the day by submitting the whole day in God’s hands. During my 1st year, I struggled a lot to study “Basics of Computing and Programming.” But when I prayed to God, God was with me in those tough times and enabled me to get 92% marks in Computer subject. I attended the day-one companies placement. To my surprise, God blessed me with a placement in M/s Accenture Services India Pvt. Ltd. Thanks to all those professors, my parents and co-students who enabled me to come up with flying colours. All praises and glory be to Jesus alone.

“I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed.

But if it dies, it produces many seeds.The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.”

(John 12:24,25) Once a few people from Greece came to Philip, the disciple of Jesus Christ and expressed their

desire to see Jesus. When Philip informed this to Jesus, as a reply Jesus uttered the above mentioned words. Of course, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

It is the desire of the Lord that each of us should carry out His ministry. Besides, we also read in the scriptures as follows: “Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil

it” (Col. 4:17). Even though there are manifold ministries in the church, Jesus opined that to win the world for the Lord, there is only one way.

That is, “unless I lay my life, shed my own blood and sacrifice my life, I can never win the souls of the world” (Mark 10:45; Jn.10:10).

Once we had been to Darjeeling in North India to conduct our Crusades. It was held just for four days only. The place was a mountainous re-

gion surrounded by places like Bhutan and Sikkim. Those people had never heard much about our Lord Jesus Christ.

Yet people thronged in multitudes to the meeting all the four days. One evening, as I was giving the message people had brought and laid few bedridden people to my left side. It was a heart rending sight. But during the prayer time the Lord spoke to me, “Tell all these bedridden people to rise up and walk.” I obeyed the Lord and commanded them as He instructed.

All of them rose up and walked instantaneously. We witnessed such great miracles that night.

After completing the crusade we were about to depart from that place. We stepped out of the house and were about to get into our car when a jeep stopped in front of us. The Pastor of the church ran towards them and inquired. Then I was taken to the jeep. What I saw and heard broke my heart. They had brought a sixteen year old girl. She suffered from epilepsy.

Time and again she used to suffer from the attack. One day she was cooking in her home all alone. Suddenly she had the epileptic attack and without her knowledge she had burnt her hand in the fire. Only when she came back to her normal senses she realized that her hand was burnt completely. At that mo-

ment somebody said, “Lord Jesus has come to Darjeeling, take her there, she will be healed”. So they had carried her in a cot. On seeing her pitiable condition I wept bitterly. Only then it struck me that there is no end to preaching the Gospel or the needs to be fulfilled by preaching the Gospel. The need for miracles and the need for proclaiming that “Jesus Christ is the Redeemer of the world” are as never ending process. Owing to this fact only our Lord Jesus would have said, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest” (Matt. 9:37, 38).

Only when the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, the power to proclaim the gospel to the world will be manifested. Who does he refer to as the ‘grain of wheat’? Does not the Word of God mention that he will gather his wheat into the garner (Matt.3:12).

Surely, we the people of God are the grains of wheat (Isa.21:10).

God’s choice The Lord has chosen only the foolish, the weak, the poor, the simple and the despised for his ministry (1 Cor. 1:27-29). Outwardly, we may look like a good grain of wheat. But in the Lord’s sight even if we appear to be foolish and

weak, he still finds some unique quality in us with which he can use us in his ministry.

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruitfruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My name.”

(John15:16) What did the Lord see in the life of Paul? He persecuted the church (Gal. 1:13). He was not worthy to be called as apostles.

The same Paul yet says with meekness, “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief” (I Tim. 1:15). What was the reason for God to select such a person for ministry?

Paul was cruel; indeed he persecuted the church as the worst sinner. Yet the Lord saw the faithfulness in his life (I Tim.1:12). Paul was faithful on one side and also burning with zeal for the Lord.

Having seen both these qualities, the Lord chose Paul for His ministry without casting him away as a sinner. It is true that the Lord chooses the unworthy.

We too might be weak, the poor, the simple and the despised.

Yet God searches whether we are truthful and zealous for Him. These two qualities when found in you God would be willing to use you in His ministry.

that which sets apart a truthful person?

“He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself,, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him” (John 7:18).

Of course, a truthful person is bent on seeking the glory of the One who sent him. Even Lord Jesus acknowledges and glorifies the Father when He says, “the Father that dwells in me, He does the works” (Jn.14:10). The Lord expects the same kind of truthfulness in us.

Few years back, I was residing at a place called Vellore, in Tamil Nadu. There I happened to hear a person sing in Tamil, “Nenjamey Veenaai Sorndhu Pogaadhey” (Do not get wearied in vain, Oh my heart). It was such a sweet song that I was determined to learn it immediately. So I approached that person and asked, “Brother, who composed this song?” he replied, “It is I who composed this song”. He continued, “When I was unable to bear the sufferings and trials that the people of God go through, I was moved to write this song”. I marveled at the beautiful composition of the song by him. I was quite surprised too. Few days later, I came to know that this song was written by Vedhanayagam Sasthiriyaar. We should have truthful heart. It is absurd to attempt to deceive people and gain fame.

Zealous for God We read that God is zealous for us in three things (James 4:5). First and foremost we should show the zeal for the Lord (II Kings 10:16).

Secondly we should be zealous in doing good deeds (Gal.4:18).

Thirdly we should show our zeal in following the Word of God (Psa.119:139).

We should never leave the godly ways and never give up doing good works. We should never diminish reading the Bible and meditating on it. In matters concerning the church, we should be cautious not to deflect from our zeal in the church activities. Only then God will be pleased with us.

Paul showed a strong passion to follow the book of law and its commandments (Acts 22:3). God saw this zeal in him and so he chose him for his ministry. In the city of Corinth, he boldly testified about Christ (Acts 18:5). In these days, in our weakness, what the Lord seeks in us is our truthfulness and the zeal. We have to earnestly see that these two things are developed within us.

Therefore my beloved people never look at anyone with contempt. They cannot hear the Gospel unless they get an opportunity.

Only such people will in the later days emerge as fortress and buckler for Christians. Let us broaden our hearts wide and say boldly that “I will take a stand to remain zealous”. Like Paul let us be ready with

zeal to preach the Good news to everyone. Then shall the Lord put us into his remembrance and use us as his instruments. Therefore let us humble ourselves totally and follow Jesus alone.

“And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.” (Romans 8:30) On July 20th 1967 I was critically ill and bed ridden. At that time four bosom friends of mine were praying for me. During that moment I was taken up to heaven in my spirit. The gracious Lord Jesus was waiting there. As I looked around I saw that the whole of Heaven was wrought in gold, rubies, all manner of precious stones like jasper and sardius. Every street was decorated with gold. As I walked through the golden path, I saw the Lord Jesus seated on a golden throne. He looked at me and asked, “Would you surrender yourself completely to carry out my ministry? As I was battling for life in my sick bed I replied “I cannot”. Jesus was surprised by my reply and remarked: “Nowadays many people jump into the ministry, but this fellow is dead against doing the ministry!” So he asked me, “Why don’t you want to do my ministry?” I replied “There are many servants of God who do not even have

one square meal a day. With torn shirts and bare feet they serve you amidst all difficulties.

So why don’t you first bless those servants of God who serve you bearing all sorrows? As for me I have decent job in the bank, have sumptuous meals thrice a day and am well dressed.”

The Lord smiled at me and asked “Would you be ready to do my ministry if I bless you with all these blessings?” Then I placed four of my demands before Him: “Wherever I go for ministry you should come with me; when I stand at the pulpit you should stand beside me. During the prayer time when I pronounce “Touch the people” you should touch them.

When I pray saying, ‘Please perform the miracles’, you should perform them. I should be able to run my family in a peaceful manner and there should not be anything lacking in my house. If you assure me of all these I shall come forward to do your ministry.

Then the Lord took a beautiful scroll and wrote all my demands. Words fail me when I seek to describe his beautiful handwriting. Then he wrote, “I Jesus Christ promise my son D.G.S. Dhinakaran that I will do the following and he attested it. He also wrote “from this day my son has accepted my assurance and promises to carry out my ministry.” After affixing his signature he asked me to sign and I did so immediately.

He continued, “My son, when I truly call anyone to serve me, I take utmost care of them. But unfortunately many people are over excited and leave their jobs and get into full time ministry as soon as they see a few getting saved, when there is a little outpouring of anointing and when a few miracles happen.

Without my consent they leave their jobs and why should I be bothered about such people?”

Every day I receive a lot of letters with cries of agony stating, “Sir,

I was in a good job earning a nice income. With a desire to serve the Lord I resigned my job. Alas! I am bereft of any ministry now. Please pray for me at the Lord’s feet and find out what His will is concerning me”. They should have done this before leaving their jobs but their pride has halted them from requesting me to find His will. They feel “How will the Lord speak through some other man of God, when I don’t receive any word from Him!” But the Word of God says: “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” (I Peter 5:6) Beloved, wait on the Lord, get a blue print of your ministry and then serve the Lord faithfully with godly fear and with steadfast trust in Him to fulfill His will. By doing so, prepare multitude of souls for Christ. May the Lord be with you and guide you.

od, who has created the whole universe, has given us a wonderful promise. He, who has said, ‘For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast’ (Psalm 33:9) and “if you would believe you would see the glory of God (John 11:40)”, is eagerly waiting to do wonders in our lives. We ought to hold on to Him with faith. He, who has promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). He will also do it (I Thessalonians 5:24).

How is the Lord, who gives us

promises? What wonders does He do in our lives? Let us meditate.

Does Wonders: ‘You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples’ (Psalm 77:14).

‘He does great things past finding out, Yes, wonders without number’ (Job 9:10).

Yes, the God of gods does wonders. He tells you, “I will show you wonders”.

What wonders does He do?

Appearing to Hagar, who was wandering in the wilderness with her child, with no hope, and weeping with the thought that they had to die, the Lord said to her, “Fear not! "Arise, lift up the lad and hold him with your hand, for I will make him a great nation. Don’t be troubled that everything is over. I am the Lord, who sees you. I would be with you and will do everything for you and make you into a blessed mother” (Genesis 21:1618;16:13).

A woman who was a sinner, stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. The Lord saw the love filled with faith that flooded out of the depth of her heart. When she, who was immersed in sin, soaked His feet with her tears and wiped them, realizing her sins, He forgave all her sins and He said, ‘"Your faith has saved you. Go in peace."

(Luke 7:37-50).

When Jesus was preaching in the synagogue on the Sabbath, there was a woman, who had a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. When Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity." He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God (Luke 13:11-13).

A woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, and who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped (Luke 8:43-44).

Thus the Lord of wonders made the people happy by doing many wonders. That’s why the Bible says, ‘His name is wonderful’ (Judges 13:18), ‘He is wonderful’ (Isaiah 9:6) and so on.

He says, "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh.

Is there anything too hard for Me? (Jeremiah 32:27).

Even today, this God of might is able to do wonders in our lives too; He is also eager to do it.

Once, when I was sharing God’s message in the Women’s Conference, a mentally ill sister who was miserable in life, was seated among the crowd. I was then comforting the gathered sisters with the words, ‘If you believe, you would see the glory of God’.

That particular sister often used to run away from home; also a foul smell emanated from her

body, because of blood flow and even her children would not sit near her. Since she had the habit of running away from home, her husband used to lock her in, before leaving for his office. He had planned to admit her in the hospital for the mentally ill people, the following week. In the meantime, with great faith, this sister had wanted to attend the meeting, though she never knew the venue. She managed to reach there with the help of a rickshaw man and as she was entering in, I was saying “Priscilla, if you believe you would see the glory of God’. I was using this name as an example. Her name too was Priscilla and so she took these words for herself and her faith increased. In that instant God showed her a wonder to make her see His glory. God’s power came upon her right then and she was healed completely. She went back home happily.

My dear mothers, your hope too shall not be cut off. Is there anything too hard for the Lord?

Everything is possible for Him. He does wonders! Whatever may be your sufferings or sicknesses or losses or sorrows, look up to Him with faith. Hold on to Him. Jesus, who does wonders, will heed your prayers. He will show wonders in your life too.

Does wonders in the Deep: ‘They see the works of the Lord, and His wonders in the deep’ (Psalm 107:24).

‘He split the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink in abundance like the depths’ (Psalm 78:15).

Yes, He is the God who is able to do wonders from the depth, knowing your heart. Darkness was on the face of the deep. And God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light (Genesis 1:2,3). He is the God who does wonders in the deep. If you hold on to Him rightfully telling, “ My beloved is mine, and I am his’ (Song of Solomon 2:16), He will do wonders in your life too.

Peter, the disciple of Jesus, was an ordinary fisherman, before he drew closer to Him. Once, he could not catch any fish despite toiling all night. So, he had pulled his boat to the shore and was washing the nets. That time, Jesus got into his boat, asked him to put out a little from the land and sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat (Luke 5:1-5).

Today, many people lament, “No money; no job; no child; no peace in the family; no joy; ‘My income is quite good but I don’t know where all the money goes…’ and so on. ‘…man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."

(I Samuel 16:7).

Yes, He searches the heart (Jeremiah 17:10). It was He, who saw the heart of Peter, who was standing there with emptiness, having caught nothing. Deciding to delight him, He commanded him to

launch out into the deep to catch the fish and showed him the wonder. He made him catch fish in an amazing way. The same Lord looks at your heart too. His eyes are like a flame of fire (Revelation 1:14,2:18). They are the eyes that clearly see the depth of everybody’s heart. He is the God who works wonders in the depth and He would show wonders in your life too.

Once a woman said to me, “Mother, I am working as a maid. I always used to argue and quarrel with the people in that household. I would cheat them in my works and spend my time in chewing beetle leaves.

My husband was a drunkard and would come home fully drunk. I used to fight with him.

But the Lord touched me through your message and now He is in my heart. I don’t fight any more and I don’t chew beetle leaves too. I am filled with divine peace and joy. Seeing my life, my husband too has come out of his drinking habit and has left his evil nature. Now both of us seek the Lord as a family and with joy.

The Lord has changed us, who were sunk in the mire of sin and who were displeasing Him. He has washed and cleansed us with His sacred blood which He has shed on the cross” ‘He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps’ (Psalm 40:2).

As the Psalmist has thus said, He, who works wonders from the depth, lifted them up.

Dear ones, perhaps, if you too are like Peter or like that woman, sunk in the deep, cry out to Him saying, “Lord, I am a sinful woman.

I am sunk in the mire of sin and am in a hateful condition. Take me out of the miry clay and cleanse me”. He, who brought Peter, who was sunk in the mire and was a displeasing vessel, out of the pit and set him up saying, “You were catching fish; from now on you will catch men’ (Luke 5:10), and who washed away the sins of that woman and granted her peace and joy, would also take you out of the displeasing state and change you into His child and servant, much to everybody’s amazement.

The Lord did yet another thing in Peter’s life: "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net."

(Luke 5:5).

Peter meets Jesus for the very first time. Until then he did not know anything about Him. Even while washing his nets, he might have been listening to the Lord when He was preaching to others, sitting in his boat.

‘Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God’ (Romans 10:17).

Accordingly, faith increased in him. Since he obeyed His Words, a miracle happened in such a way that they caught a great number of www.jesuscalls.org - May 2017 JESUS CALLS

fish, and their net was breaking.

My dear sisters, do you want to be blessed thus? You should also learn to honour the Lord’s Words and read them diligently. The Lord is great. Whatever the LORD pleases He does, In heaven and in earth, In the seas and in all deep places (Psalm 135:6). He wants us to prosper in everything (III John 2).

How did Peter, who was catching fish, become a catcher of men?

He was filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-14). When he went to the Temple of God, he took the man, who was lame since birth, by the right hand and lifted him up, saying, ‘In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk’.

Immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them; walking, leaping, and praising God (Acts 3:1-8). Peter, who was an illiterate, spoke about the Lord, boldly. Those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them (Acts 2:40,41).

They brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them and they were all healed (Acts 5:15).

Smith Wigglesworth, the great servant of God, had a big church which was attended by a huge multitude of people. But he never knew how to preach. It was his wife, who used to preach and he would take offerings and do other odd jobs in the church.

One day, he heard about a great revival in a church in England where everyone was said to be filled with the Holy Spirit and praising God. Immediately he too decided to attend that church since he felt that there would be a great revival in his life. He attended a few meetings. Days passed by. He became dejected as he did not get filled with the anointing of the Spirit and went to the godly mother, who had arranged those revival meetings and said to her, “Madam, I came here to receive the anointing; but I haven’t got it. So I am going back home…” He finally asked her to pray for him. When she placed her hands on him and prayed for him with compassion, the Lord filled him, who was waiting with thirst, with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, in

an immeasurable way. Filled with the Spirit, he began to praise the Lord in tongues. With great joy he went back home and shared this happy news with his wife and children. So his wife asked him to share God’s message in the church, that Sunday.

He too agreed. During the service, as he began to speak, the power of the Lord came upon everyone. The congregation was filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and every one began to roll on the floor. They started praising the Lord. Wigglesworth’s wife thanked the Lord greatly saying, “This is not my husband Smith but is a powerful sword used by my Lord”. He lived with the same power till his old age and glorified God’s name through his mighty ministry. His church too began to expand.

My dear sisters, don’t you need this profound experience? He, who has the ability to control the roaring of the sea in the depth, is able to give the same power to you too.

He will change you as a mighty sword and use you for the glory of His name. He will pour out the same power in your family too and bless you.

Declare His Wonders:

‘Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might…’

(Ecclesiastes 9:10).

‘Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples’ (I Chronicles 16:24; Psalm 78:4; 77:11; 96:3).

Accordingly, you too should do what you can for the Lord and glorify God.

peoples!’ (I Chronicles 16:8; Psalm 105:2; 136:4).

Thus, we need to declare the wonders of the Lord. ‘…out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks’ (Matthew 12:34).

As the Bible thus says, whenever we have time, we should think of the good things that the Lord has done for us and thank Him wholeheartedly.

Once, when the Lord Jesus went to the synagogue, He saw those who bought and sold in the temple, drove them out and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. At the same time, seeing Him healing a blind man and a lame man, the children cried out saying "Hosanna to the Son of David!" (Matthew 21:15,16).

That’s why the Bible says, ‘Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength’ (Psalm 8:2).

As we keep praising God, His presence would fill us. ‘You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel’ (Psalm 22:3). Accordingly, He would dwell in our house. He would be with us wherever we go.

So, dear ones, learn to open your mouth wide and to praise and thank the Lord.

‘I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth’ (Psalm 34:1).

As the Psalmist thus says, we should praise Him at all times.

The Lord says, ‘I am the

Lord, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to carved images’ (Isaiah 42:8; 48:11).

My dear sisters, declare this Lord of wonders to everyone.

When the Samaritan woman, who was in miry sin received the forgiveness of sin and testified about her joy to others, many in that city became believers (John 4:28-30).

Let us also arise as an army for Him. ‘A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time."

(Isaiah 60:22).

He, who says thus, is wonderful. He is waiting to honour you.

You shall become a strong nation.

He has kept an open door before you. He will lead you by His hands.

Even in my life, I was once an empty vessel. But after marriage, I began to serve my husband faithfully and prayed for his ministry earnestly. I was then very timid and shy. One day the Lord spoke to me and said, “How long would you be telling that you are ignorant? I am going to use you mightily in such a way in future that you would tell that you have no time”. But I was amused to myself thinking how I would do ministry. My husband got his transfer to Chennai from his bank job in Mettur Dam. After coming to Chennai, we received lot of letters in the ministry. I began to help him in the letter ministry in a small way. As

days went by, the Lord expanded the ministry and opened doors to do greater work. He filled us with His power and began to use us by opening up doors to preach in Gospel meetings.

Days went by! As I was heartbroken over my dear daughter’s sudden death in a cruel accident on May 21, 1986, the Lord said to me, “My daughter, don’t keep crying thinking of your daughter. I am going to use you for the women who languish in tears just like you. I would give you the knowledge and wisdom for that.

I would use you in a new way”.

It was after this, He gave me the grace to start the Esther Prayer Group, Women’s Conference, Family Blessing Meeting and so on and also to write several books. As He said earlier, He has expanded the ministry in so many ways and sometimes I have to tell ‘No time’. Also He has strengthened me and is using me for the glory of His name.

You too should do whatever ministry that you get, The Lord, who has promised, ‘A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation’, will increase you and bless you. He will show His wonders from the depth.

This wonderful God is with you. He will remove all your lacks. He will use you mightily in the ministry. So, discard your lethargy, dejection and negligence, and arise and shine in these last days. Miracles in personal life I am now 67 years old. When I was young I came to know the Lord through the message of late Bro.Dhinakaran and have been living as His daughter since then. In 2001 my husband passed away and I am living with my children.

When I was longing to do some ministry for the Lord at this lonely period, He spoke to me to start the Esther Prayer Group. Immediately I obeyed His word and

started the Esther Prayer Group in our area. As a result, I felt the mighty presence of the Lord.

Whenever we gather as a group and pray, the Lord pours down His mighty anointing. He gives us the burden to pray for others. So, we used to read every prayer point sent by Sis. Stella Dhinakaran and pray with burden because of which, we are receiving many miracles in our own lives.

Particularly, a sister who is known to me, was leading a difficult life without any means even for food. She had absolutely nobody to care for her. She wanted us to conduct the Esther Prayer Group prayer in her house. As sisters, we too started the prayer in her house. What a wonder! Today that sister is in a good position. Answer: The life of our Lord Jesus is the example for us, in every way (I Peter 2:21). We need to follow His steps, every day. To know this, we need to read the Bible diligently.

1. Reverence, Obedience: The Lord Jesus had burden about godly things even at a young age. His concern and reverence to seek His heavenly Father and His things was more than the love He had for His parents. At the age of 12, He was sitting in the midst of the teachers and was speaking about matters related to God (Luke 2:46,47). When His parents sought Him anxiously, don’t we read that He said, "Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?" (Luke 2:49).

Do we have such zeal for the things of God? In that situation when His parents who sought Him could not understand Him, He did 42

not make it a big deal but went with them, obeyed them and made them happy.

My dear sisters, like the Lord, are we also concerned about seeking the things of the Lord at a young age itself and do we show our godly zeal as children walking in obedience to the parents? Let us examine our lives and live a pleasing life to God, just as how the Lord did.

2. Knowing the truth and obeying According to John 8:32, knowing the truth, He carefully walked in it. When John the Baptist, who came as His forerunner, hesitated to baptize Him, He committed Himself to the truth with godly fear saying, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness" (Matthew 3:15). What a great example is this for us!

By thus walking in all rever-

ence in the ways of truth, didn’t He boldly ask, "Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?” (John 8:46). Do we have this divine life of godly zeal and walking in the truth, despising sin?

So, let us examine our life and always be careful to discard our short comings and live a life that pleases God.

3. Fulfilling the will of God "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work” (John 4:34). He, who said this, lived as an example to us by waiting in the presence of God every day, knowing the divine will of God in His life, walking diligently by it and by fulfilling it till the end. Like Him, we too should wait at the feet of the Lord in order that we may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God and know His will clearly and

fulfil it in all godly reverence (Colossians 4:12).

Early Morning Prayer “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.”

(Mark 1:35)

David, was an ordinary man like us. Yet, he followed the ways of the Lord and sought Him in the morning with his whole heart and with thirst as we see in Psalm 63:1.

He always kept the Lord before him. Hence, the Lord was at His right hand. He was not shaken

even in the midst of terrible sufferings and afflictions. As we read in Luke 6:12, the Lord Jesus went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. Often He fasted and prayed.

Hence even the demons trembled on seeing Him. People were miraculously delivered from the horrible clutches of the devil (Matthew 17:21).

Thus, as an example for us, through His prayer life, the Lord Jesus Christ, was filled with the divine life of living in unison with

God as said "I and My Father are one" (John 10:30).

Yes, dear ones, if we do not have the divine life of always living in unison with the Father, as Jesus lived, we would never enjoy a triumphant life.

My dear sisters, let us also commit our lives at the feet of God in all reverence in order to live a successful and pleasing life to God, without getting weary and being deceived by demonic people and the devil, in this wicked and deceptive world.

Gift of a child after 13 years We had no child even after 13 years of married life as a result of which we were spending our days in agony. Because of this reason, we were facing several problems. I used to keep crying at nights, without sleeping. We went to the hospital for treatment to get a child and the doctors, after testing said that Rs.80,000/ - would be needed for the first phase of treatment. We did not know what to do. So we stopped going for the treatment. At this juncture I wrote a letter to Sis. Stella Dhinakaran seeking prayers for me. She too had replied stating that the Lord would do a miracle. Also I read the book, “The Fruit of the womb” written by her and every word written there and the promises comforted me. I had the faith that the Lord would surely do a miracle and grant me the gift of a child. That time I heard about the “Jesus Calls Young Partner’s Plan” and enrolled in it anticipating a child in faith. The next month, I had to go to the hospital as I was not feeling well and the doctors said that I had 44

conceived. My joy knew no bounds! Every month, before going for the check up I used to visit the Prayer Tower for prayers. By the grace of God everything was normal. I delivered a boy baby whom we have named ‘John Samuel’. My thanks to the Lord, who did this miracle.

God who comforted and lifted me up I am married and have three children. My husband died when my third daughter was 1 ½ years old. I did not know what to do and was in anguish since my husband was everything to me. His loss was unbearable to me and I was scared as to how I would live in this world with three daughters. Since I was associated with the Jesus Calls ministry, I wrote a letter to Sis. Stella Dhinakaran. She used to send me comforting replies with apt promise verses. Those words comforted me a lot and I began to develop a close communion with God. Not only that, I started reading more of God’s word.

After this the Lord began to lift me up. I got a job as a teacher in a school. I then came to know about the Esther Prayer Group and committed myself to pray for other women. As I started praying for others more and more, the Lord took care of my three daughters.

He helped them to study well and get good jobs too. Also, at the due time, they got good alliances and got married. Since I held on to the Lord at that time when I had nothing, He Himself comforted my soul and strengthened me miraculously. Particularly, he helped me write a book titled, “Finest Wheat Grains.” Sis Stella Dhinakaran has sent the Foreword for that. Thus the Lord has graciously lifted up me, who was in a lonely state.

God given gift of a child We got married on October 22, 2007. We were happily leading our life and God blessed my womb. But unexpectedly the child died and we underwent untold agony. Six years passed thus. We went to the hospital for several tests as we did not have a child and the doctors gave us many kinds of treatments. Yet, we were not blessed with a child. Despite spending all our income for the treatment for nearly 3 years, we could not get a child. Hence I was both physically and mentally exhausted and finally stopped taking any treatment.

On October 22, our wedding day, we came to the Prayer Tower for prayers. After that we bought the book ‘The Fruit of the womb’ written by Sis. Stella Dhinakaran, from the Jesus Calls Book stall. I began to read the book, once returning home. After that I had a very strong faith and as I read the book, every word and verse given in the book made me get rooted in faith. I had the strong belief in my soul that surely the Lord would do a miracle.

Yes, I conceived even without taking any treatment. My joy knew no bounds.After I conceived, with

faith I kept on praising the Lord for the child He had given.

By the grace of God, I delivered a sweet baby girl on November3, 2014. We have named her Andrea. When I read the book ‘The Fruit of the womb’ every word and verse quoted in it was of great encouragement in kindling my faith.

Through this, the Lord helped me to deliver a child. Thanks to the Lord Jesus. I express my gratitude to Sis. Stella Dhinakaran who has written this book.

The moment he heard that a heavy storm has hit Chennai, Deepak tried to contact his elder sister Leela but could not reach her. He tried his nephew Robert but again could not. Only then he saw the photo sent by his nephew through whatsapp and was stunned.

Thank God, the message he read below was of a relief to him.

“Thank God! Though half a portion of our house is wrecked, He has saved me and mom without any harm”. With relief he thought about the old days.

Poverty drove their mother to settle Leela’s marriage with her brother’s son. Their father was never for that marriage but yet since the boy’s side approached them willingly, he had to agree.

With no way out, the fair and pretty Leela, had to marry her cousin, who was an alcoholic.

Since Deepak was then quite young studying in the college, he could not do much about it and prevent the marriage.

When he cried on seeing her, she comforted him saying, “Why do you cry Deepak? I have accepted this, putting my trust on God. Dad too doesn’t like this marriage. But what to do? Mom and dad don’t have enough money and jewels to marry me off to a nice guy. They can do only this much, considering dad’s asthmatic condition and your education. The Lord will take care…”

Saving her income in the bank, and obtaining a bank loan, she set up a stall near the Pallavaram Railway station. She made her jobless husband manage the stall and this proved to be a wise move because, he, who had been drinking and roaming around, started looking after the stall very well. Soon their family condition improved and they educated their son in a good school. Leela began to share the Lord’s love with the gypsies who were residing in a colony nearby. They were living in a small house, surrounded by trees in that locality. Soon, a member of their church, a very rich man, who was impressed by their life, built a beautiful small house for them. He also helped them in educating their son. It was this house that had been ruined. Deciding to somehow help his sister who always used to say that God would take care of everything, Deepak set out for Chennai.

He saw uprooted trees on both sides of the roads. Tears streamed down his cheeks as he saw his sister’s ruined house, from a distance. The roof was missing! The Auto driver took him there, telling him on the way, “Sir, have you come to this Madam’s house?

She is a good guide for me. I was an alcoholic. Because of her I have

accepted Jesus and I am a new man now and take very good care of my family”. Leela, who came out, on hearing the sound of the auto, rushed to hug him.

“Brother, my Lord is good.

The person, who gave us this house, has now given us a house in the six storied apartment near

the Railway Station. We saw that house. I am not worthy to even live in that. It is such a wonderful house. He wants us to move in there right now. But I have only one brother. So I didn’t want to live there without him. Since I didn’t hear from you, I asked him to give me two days’ time to de-

cide. Now the Lord has brought you here…”

As she kept talking, Deepak understood clearly that the Lord is indeed good according to his sister’s words. Tears of joy flooded his eyes.

‘Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good…’ (Psalm 34:8).

Miraculous healing for son

doctors said that his condition was serious and that it would be difficult to save him.

Not knowing what to do, I cried out in agony and the world appeared bleak before me since I had lost my husband and my son was in a critical stage. He was in coma for nearly 1 ½ months. At this time, when I was watching Sis. Stella Dhinakaran’s programme on the Television, she specially prayed for the sick children. I too joined her in the prayer and prayed with tears for my son who was in coma stage. I had faith that the Lord would surely do a miracle.

Since I was in Chennai, I vis-

ited the Prayer Tower for prayers. The prayer intercessors prayed for me and encouraged me saying that God would surely do a miracle for my son. By the prayers of Sister Stella Dhinakaran, my son came out of the coma stage.

Doctors said that since he had brain injury, he would not be able to talk. But I had faith that the Lord would certainly make him talk. Accordingly, within a few days, he began to talk and came back home, miraculously healed. From then on, he is keeping good health and is going to college. I give all glory to the Lord.

I have two sons. My husband passed away 8 years back and I brought up my children with great difficulty. In 2015 my son was studying in the college. In February, when he was going to the college, he met with an accident, had brain injury and went into coma.

When I heard of this, I rushed to the hospital, crying all the way. The doctors tested him and said that they could not do anything since he had grave brain injury. They advised me to take him to Chennai and I brought him to a famous hospital in Chennai. Here too the

that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” (I John 5:14)

As an example to us, the Lord Jesus fulfilled the will of the Father and gave up His life saying ‘It is finished’ (John 19:30). As we read in John 3:16, He accomplished this according to the will of God, in order that many sinners should become righteous and attain eternal life in heaven. About David Jesus said, ‘a man after My own heart’ (Acts 13:22).

He also gave the reason for that and said, ‘He will do all My will.'

My dear sisters, God will lead you according to His will. Whatever it may be, it is such a blessing and joyous life to walk in patience and receive a blessed life in the end!

2. Ask in prayer with faith "And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

(Matthew 21:22)

Our God knows what our needs are (Matthew 6:8).

Also, Paul writes thus in Philippians 4:19, “…my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

In 1 Timothy 6:17, we read that it is His desire to give us richly all things to enjoy. He longs to supply our needs. He looks at us and says, “Ask, and it will be given to you…for everyone who asks receives” (Matthew 7:7,8).

For God to supply our needs, in what ways can we call unto Him?

1. Ask according to God’s will “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, 48

A woman, who suffered a lot for 12 years because of heavy issue of blood and who had spent all her livelihood for that believed in heart, “It is enough if I touch the hem of the Lord’s garment.

God’s power would come upon me and at once I would be delivered.” She executed her faith in action. That’s all! He said, "Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace."

Immediately that woman was healed (Luke 8:43-48). Similarly, don’t we see and hear about the miracles that the Lord does for several such women as they place their faith on Him and pray to Him? However, some sisters do not believe that the Lord is able to give them such deliverance and they think negatively as a result of which they are unable to re-

ceive any blessing and are blaming the Lord and the people who pray for them.

Hence they lose hope and languish because of dejection.

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

Surely there would be success for him, who believes that the Lord is a rewarder of those who seek Him. He will give it to him.

3. ‘God who reveals His power to those whose heart is loyal’ (II Chronicles 16:9) Job had a good testimonial

from the Lord (Job 1:1,8). Yet, how terrible was the path of trial that he underwent in his life! It was full of sorrows and tears. It was the way of God. Nobody has the rights to question His ways. Even in the midst of those terrible losses and pain, Job kept praising God. It was pleasing in the sight of God. Though the horror of sickness tormented him, he looked only up to Him and walked in faithfulness saying, “He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job 23:10). Hence, the power of God came upon his body and

life mightily. He received miraculous deliverance in his body. He received all that he had lost in double fold and was blessed (Job 42:10).

Our Lord hears our pleas and requests. We should never forget that according to Ephesians 3:20, He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Have we failed to receive the Lord’s blessings?

Even today, may the Lord give you the grace to meditate on the above truths, to confess your shortcomings to Him, to believe Him and see His glory!

MIRACULOUS WONDER THROUGH THE PROMISE VERSE My mother fell sick suddenly in April 2016. As days went by, her condition worsened and we took her to the hospital. Doctors advised for a scan and the scan report showed a tumour near her brain. I was shocked to hear this and did not know what to do. Doctors said that since the tumour was near the brain, it could not be operated and that it would spread all over her body resulting in death. Since we could not keep her in the hospital, doctors advised us to take her back home saying that she would die at any time. I was in agony. On May 1, 2016, I went to the Pondicherry Prayer Tower for the morning meeting at 6 O’ Clock, to hear the Promise message. In that video message, Sis. Stella Dhinakaran quoted the verse in Jeremiah 33:3, 'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'. I held on to this promise verse and called unto the Lord, even without my knowledge. Then I had the faith that surely the Lord would answer me. By the grace of God, my mother underwent the surgery and was given 30 radiations. As she is 61 years of age we thought she cannot withstand. But when a scan was taken again, the report came out to be normal and stated that there was no trace of the tumour. I was thrilled. Now my mother is in good health. Everybody, even the doctors are amazed to see her.
