Strengths of the EYV2011 Tour The EYV2011 Tour provides an exceptional opportunity for organizations to: • Network and get in contact with other organizations involving volunteers and find opportunities for cooperation. • Give visibility to their own activities and share their own experiences. • Meet volunteers and people interested in becoming volunteers, exchange ideas and answer questions. • Encourage and recognize volunteers from their organization and others for all their efforts and achievements. • Share their concerns with citizens and convey their energy and enthusiasm. • Enable volunteers to meet and learn about best practices in each European country. • Learn more about the European dimension of volunteering and be part of a European initiative that will cover 27 countries.
