Recently, we had the opportunity to speak with Shir Peled, the first woman to serve in Israelās undercover unit known as the Mistaāaravim. In her position, Shir and other agents would head into Arab villages in disguise, mingle with the local Arab population, and carry out critical missions. Shir held the position for four years, carrying out hundreds of missions during the Second Intifada.
