The Jewish Community Partnership Where Our Community Comes to Heal By Anna Shabtay, Campaign Communications Manager ebbie and Jewish Family and Children’s Service (JFCS) saved my life. I am stronger today than I have ever been,” explains Nancy as she reflects back on the past couple of years in her life. “
HER STORY Nancy spiraled into darkness and despair after her spinal cord injury in August of 2007 and was not sure she would be able to get out. Nancy explains, “I was overwhelmed with the instability of my physical body and struggling with depression.” After reading about JFCS in the Jewish Community Chronicle, Nancy’s husband urged her to call. She reached out to JFCS for guidance and healing. JFCS provided low-cost counseling to guide Nancy back Debbie (L) and JFCS made a huge difference in Nancy’s life. to wholeness. _______________________________________________________________________ Nancy began working with Debbie to move forward. Debbie counseled, guided, and listened to “Debbie and Jewish Family and Nancy. Nancy has benefitted tremendously from her guidance and support. Nancy adds, “I received Children’s Service saved my life. compassion and I learned the skills and tools to help me navigate my challenges with dignity, integrity and I am stronger today than courage.” Nancy not only used JFCS for their counseling I have ever been.” services but also began working out at the Alpert _______________________________________________________________________ Jewish Community Center (AJCC) with her trainer, Mike, to work on her physical health. She explains, “the trainers at the AJCC were so helpful and patient with me. They worked with me at my level and always encouraged me to be my best.” jjjjjjNancy benefitted from the collaboration of our agencies. She did not have to go to two different places to receive services; instead she came to one central location that could meet all of her needs. Nancy adds, “The Jewish Community Partnership Agencies are my second family, they embrace me with connection, compassion, encouragement, positive energy, kindness and laughter. The Albert JCC and Jewish Family and Children’s Service have and continue to be instrumental in my journey with my new normal. I tell people every day how great the agencies are here and how they provide so many services to our community!”

THE JEWISH COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP jjjjjjJewish Family and Children’s Serv ice is a member of the Jewish Community Partnership (JCP) which is convened by the Jewish Federation of Greater Long Beach and West Orange County, and also includes The Jewish Community Foundation, Alpert Jewish Community Center, The Hebrew Academy of Huntington Beach, and Long Beach Hillel. jjjjjjThe JCP is a vital community resource serving Greater Long Beach and West Orange County. Our partnership works collectively to strengthen individuals and families in our community and beyond. Modeling core Jewish values of compassion, community, learning and philanthropy, we enhance, enrich and connect the Jewish Community while providing people of all faiths, cultures, and ages convenient access to comprehensive services and life-changing programs. The Jewish Community Partnership has changed Nancy’s life for the better and continues to make an impact on her through her training at the Alpert JCC and her counseling at JFCS. In order for The Jewish Community Partnership to thrive and help more people like Nancy, the agencies involved have embarked on a joint fundraising campaign called the Fund for Our Future. The Fund for Our Future has been established to provide immediate funds and future funds to the Greater Long Beach Jewish community for the purposes of agency capacity building aimed at sustaining vibrant Jewish life and service to the community over the next 60 years and beyond. The Jewish Community Foundation has many large and small programs and services available that need funding in all of the agencies in the Jewish Community Partnership. If you are interested in learning more about the Fund for Our Future, please contact Sharon Kenigsberg at sharonk@ jewishlongbeach.org or 562-426-7601 EXT 1008. Nancy’s story is just one of the many stories about people whose lives’ have been changed for the better by becoming a part of the Jewish Community Partnership. Nancy explains “Not once was money brought up. I was important, not my checkbook. I was helped by the Jewish Community Partnership regardless of my ability to make a payment or my religious identity. I immediately felt welcome.”

INSIDE THE CHRONICLE
The Jewish Community
Federation Incoming President Remarks-Annual Meeting 2011 From the Director Deborah K. Goldfarb
On June 2, 2011, we gathered in the Lipeles Auditorium with over 150 community members to celebrate the accomplishments of the Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Foundation throughout the 2010-2011 year. We honored our outgoing presidents, Shari Nemirow and Laurie Raykoff. We thanked our board members for the hard work that they do. We honored Arthur Miller with the Baldwin Community Service Award and Paige Fingerhut and Sara Phillips with the Neuburger Young Leadership Award. Our 2010-2011 New Leaders Forum participants culminated their experience with a presentation about what they learned and they received their graduation certificates. Finally, we welcomed our incoming Presidents, Jim Breslauer for the Jewish Federation and Judi Lentzner for the Jewish Community Foundation. Their inspirational remarks appear on pages 4 and 5.
Federation Outgoing President, Shari Nemirow and Incoming President, Jim Breslauer.
Jim Breslauer
Sixty four years ago the Long Beach Federation was incorporated and through the dedicated leadership of many people, we have been successful in sustaining and growing our Jewish Community identity. I visualize our work as a building under construction: a beautiful house of good deeds. A facility that encompasses the work we do and the community we serve. We have established a very strong foundation and as with any structure, a solid foundation is essential. But with the construction of any foundation, there are always stones, rocks and blocks that are better suited for the erection of outer walls and the critical infrastructures. These walls and infrastructures represent the needs of the community and point us in the direction of fulfilling today’s priorities thus making us more inclusive and relevant. The health of our Jewish community will be reflected in the health and relevance of each of our individual agencies. It is important that we are here not only as organizational survivors but here as a critical and needed force for the betterment of our local and international Jewish Community and for the Greater Long Beach community today and in the future as well…. that is what I mean by relevance. We have many members in our community who are not currently active participants in this work. These people, these
stones, rocks and blocks are needed to build this edifice and infrastructure, a viable house of good deeds. We made a good start with the Legacy of Leadership dinner last January. Over 520 people attended from our community, many of whom had never attended a dinner like this before. Never had we so clearly articulated a unified message from our agencies as to who we are as a family and what we do for our Jewish and non-Jewish Greater Long Beach community. So now the challenge is how do we continue this great work and reach out to more of our community as we build to make our vision a reality. Here are a few of initiatives we are planning to undertake: 1. First we have already begun an inclusive task force made up of past presidents, current administrations and members from the general community to help develop guideposts to point us in the right direction. Its goal is to make sure that we, as a united community, will continue to grow and better serve our multiple generations and the full diversity of our family. 2. By connecting with Jews in other parts of the world who also want to connect with us, we will be expanding our community Jewish identity. To do this we are working on three different missions: a.We are partnering with the Los Angeles Federation in October with a joint mission to Israel that offers the opportunity to see the country, to celebrate, to learn and to meet notable dignitaries.

Paige Fingerhut and Sara Phillips, Neuburger Young Leadership Award Recipients.
Mort Stuhlbarg, Baldwin Community Service Award Recipient, Arthur Miller, and Jim Linden.
b.We are working with the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce to organize a trip to Israel in the spring of 2012. This trip which we are calling: “Exploring the Start-up Nation – an Israeli Adventure”, will be open to members of our Jewish Community and the greater Long Beach population and business community. c. We are also planning a trip to Cuba to learn about and support their Jewish people. 3. Through our CRC (Community Relations Committee) we are developing handson community outreach programs that will engage all generations and meet many needs in our Jewish and general locality. 4. We look to expand the fine work of our Jewish Community Leadership Development Program by: a.Introducing a Women’s Advanced Leadership initiative. b.Establishing a Young Leadership cabinet. c. Creating a model Board Development program for use by our partner agencies. d.Working toward development of Past-Presidents
Council to tap into the vast knowledge of our experienced leaders in a more formal way. 5. We are also reviewing our methods of communication. How can we make better use of the new social media such as Facebook or Twitter? Should our web page be more interactive and incorporate a blog to facilitate more two-way communication? Can we use technology to better reach out and interact with our community? By doing these things and the other initiatives in the discussion and early planning stages, we are continuing the transition from sustainability to relevance. As we grow in service to our people, our funding and endowments will grow. The more these grow, the more we can serve our vibrant and dynamic family. The strong foundation built over the last 64 years provides a solid base. Together, we will grow into the structure we envision to meet the evolving needs of our community by incorporating the new stones, rocks and blocks of our house of service. Thus we will continue the transition from sustainability to relevancy.

Foundation Incoming President Remarks-Annual Meeting 2011
Judith Lentzner
My journey to this position began in July 1967 when Roselle Sommer rang my doorbell, bringing greetings from the Jewish Federation in Long Beach. She left that day having given me the opportunity to make my first gift to the annual campaign and hoping I would join in "some" activities in the community. I wish Roselle, Bob Baldwin, and Freddie Neuburger were here today so I could thank them for welcoming and mentoring me in the Long Beach Jewish Community and could see that I accepted their challenge of "getting involved." Enough reminiscing, because there are so many exciting opportunities that I would like to share with you and hope you will join all of us as we collaborate and cultivate that which will continue to build a stronger community. Our Legacy of Leadership Events in 2007 and again in 2011 set unprecedented
record attendance, and generated additional endowments and bequests to our Foundation, now totaling nearly $30 million dollars in current endowments and future bequests. These two events allowed us to extend a hand and welcome to both the Jewish and non-Jewish community. We partnered with the Aquarium of the Pacific, the new Long Beach Ronald McDonald House, the Unity Festival and CCEJ. Deborah Goldfarb, Executive Director of the Jewish Federation continues her communication with many other local organizations. Five years ago, Jim Breslauer offered a challenge to the B'nai students in our community. A portion of their Bar/Bat Mitzvah gift money would be matched by the Soref Foundation to establish a fund by which the students can direct earnings each year or accumulate funds for future giving. We currently have 24 participants and want to expand the group. Educating our children to the value of tzedakah and securing the future of their community is an important part of what
the Foundation does. We're looking for someone to help us take the lead on this committee, someone perhaps who has a child having had or nearing Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Please contact the Foundation office if you would like to participate or help with this important committee. We have a very active investment committee under the leadership of Leon Shoag. They meet every other month, overseeing our investments with Mike Van Dyke from the Shadden Group, which have done well in spite of the economic downturn. We look forward
to the continued growth of our funds through careful investment practices. Laurie Raykoff, Edie Brodsky and Sharon Kenigsberg just returned from a National Legacy Conference in Kansas City. (You can learn more about their trip on page 6). They will lead by example by energizing a new initiative to encourage community members to create bequests through their estates and by providing educational forums and materials. We will give everyone the opportunity to ask the question: Will I continue making a differ-
ence in my community in the future? Through your bequest to the Jewish Community Foundation, you can remember any organization, both in the Jewish Community and the greater non-Jewish Community. By creating an endowment or bequest for your temple, or an agency close to your heart, we will be living the values we all cherish. Thank you again for asking me to join the leadership team of this very important community agency. I look forward to working with all of you.

Focus On Jewish Legacy Programs
Sharon Kenigsberg, Laurie Raykoff, and Edie Brodsky attend 2nd annual Jewish Legacy Conference in Kansas City
Edie Brodsky, Laurie Raykoff and Sharon Kenigsberg were among the more than 100 Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Foundation lay leaders and professionals who gathered in May at the second North American Jewish Legacy Forum to strategize ways to design and implement endowment-building programs throughout the Jewish community. Thirty-three communities were represented at the three-day conference in Kansas City, which was pro-
CREATE a Jewish Legacy Simplify your Charitable Giving with a Donor Advised Philanthropic Fund “Joel and I give gifts throughout the year to many charities, both Jewish and non-Jewish. We have set up a Donor Advised Philanthropic Fund at the Jewish Community Foundation and have found that it makes our life easier, especially at tax time. With a donor advised fund we contribute when it is convenient for us and get the tax deduction and then, at our request, the Foundation takes care of the administrative work of the check writing and the distributions. At tax time, we have one statement from the Foundation that shows all of our distributions and it saves us from searching for numerous cancelled checks.” Contribute When it is Convenient, Gift when it is Needed.

duced in collaboration with The Jewish Federations of North America, the Jewish Community Foundations (JCF) of Kansas City, Hartford, and Springfield, Conn. Mass., as well as the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. The agenda focused on expanding and improving upon “Create a Jewish Legacy” initiatives, which empower local communities to make planned giving a priority. Ronald Goldsmith, president of the JCF in Kansas City, welcomed the opportunity to host the conference in his community, which was one of the first to launch an endowment-building initiative in 2007. “Having volunteer leadership and their professional partners from communities of all sizes share their insights and experiences with one another was just incredible,” he said. “Many new ideas were generated, and people returned home energized and motivated to put legacy giving on the front burner.” The Long Beach delegation shared the success of the recent Legacy of Leadership event this past January, which brought together over 500 people to launch the Jewish Community Partnership and the Fund for Our Future. Copies of the Jewish Community Partnership Brochure are available by calling the Foundation office at 562-4267601. “This second Jewish Legacy Forum really pushed ‘legacy’ further into the spotlight in a very significant way,” added Susan Farber, a member of the JFNA Planned Giving and Endowments Committee and past co-chair of the national Lion of Judah Endowment program. “Those in attendance were engaged by the content and enjoyed meeting others who are
equally committed to ensuring the future of our Jewish communities.” The Legacy Forum covered a wide-ranging curriculum with sessions focused on deepening and sustaining donor relations, new trends in e-marketing for planned gifts and making endowment fundraising a priority. The agenda also addressed future events and communications around “Create A Jewish Legacy,” such as a third Legacy Forum, which is currently being discussed, as well as interim opportunities for community leaders to continue to connect via webinars, listserves and a newly launched Legacy Library. “I was honored to attend my first Jewish Legacy conference this year,” explains Edie Brodsky, Vice President of the Jewish Community Foundation, “and I was most impressed by the fact that we are not the only community concerned with creating Jewish Legacies, that the movement is bigger than us and that every community is struggling to ensure the future just like we are.” An increasing number of Jewish Federations and Jewish Community Foundations have either established or expressed interest in “Create a Jewish Legacy" programs, which are modeled on an initiative begun in San Diego in 2003. Collectively, they have raised an estimated $400 million in legacy commitments. Laurie Raykoff, immediate past president of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Long Beach, said “I was truly inspired by this conference. It made me proud to see what we have already done in our community and made me realize the importance of stepping up our efforts to ensure the future through legacy gifts.”

JFCS and 2nd Street Beauty Boutique hosted “Shopping at 2nd Street Beauty,” a shopping extravaganza benefitting JFCS Long Beach/West Orange County on May 22. A special thank you to the generosity and support of Nicole Freeman Cohen and her parents, Richard and Arlene Freeman, 20% of all proceeds from the sale from 6:00-8:00 pm were donated to JFCS and its critically important social services. The event featured friends, food and wine all in the backdrop of some fabulous shopping for what many call the best “candy store for women” around. The staff at 2nd Street Beauty were on hand to give
make-up and hair demonstrations and help everyone learn about their product lines. 2nd Street Beauty Boutique donated three fabulous prizes for a raffle at the event including a T3 Expressions Blow Dryer ($300), an Enzo Milano clipless curling iron ($129.99), and a Murad gift package (over $175.00). Christal Dunn arranged for a Tiffany’s gift certificate ($200), a Seatbelt Bag Purse ($200), and gift cards from many major retailers and restaurants. Thank you to everyone for making this a wonderful event and thank you to Christal Dunn and 2nd Street Beauty staff for helping us all GET OUR BEAUTY ON!
New Horizons Appreciates its Guest Speakers The New Horizons Group at JFCS assists unemployed and underemployed individuals in the various aspects of seeking employment. It meets weekly at the AJCC in Long Beach and is facilitated by Michele Klein and Lea Gerber. Guest speakers from the community make presentations to the group about employment related topics. Lance Valt, president of the Jacobs Senior Housing Board, and Geri Brewster, JCC board member have discussed skill assessment and communication techniques. Jim Breslauer
covered the topic of marketing oneself for a potential employer. David and Yetta Kane and Rob Feldman, JFCS board member, have shared their experiences while addressing reinventing oneself in the current job market. Jon Strum, JCC staff member has trained the group in the usage of social media tools. JFCS is thankful and appreciative of the efforts put forth by these individuals and wishes to acknowledge their significant contribution to the success of the New Horizons Group.
Congratulations to Lise & Johanna JFCS is pleased to announce the appointment of Lise Miller, MA, MFTI, as the new Director of Development and M a r ke t i n g . Lise has been working as a clinician at JFCS for the Lise Miller past 3 years to earn her post graduate hours to get her Marriage and Family Therapy license. Last year she took on additional responsibilities as weekend clinical manager and client intake coordinator. “Lise has many skills and we were always trying to find additional tasks for her at the agency,” said Wendy Puzarne, executive director. “I had no idea that Lise had so many years of valuable nonprofit
experience when she approached me about applying for the development and marketing position.” Prior to coming to JFCS, Lise worked for nonprofits such as the Boys & Girls Clubs, the YMCA, the National Council on Crime and Delinquency as well as spending eight years working in philanthropy at the Richard & Rhoda Goldman Fund and the Goldman Environmental Prize. Lise is in a unique position of being a professional that knows about the agency’s services first hand and she has the skills and knowledge to market the agency and work with the board on fundraising activities. “Everyone is excited about working with Lise,” said Wendy. “The staff already know and love her and the board is excited about the anticipated changes.”
Part of Lise’s duties will include staffing two JFCS board committees: marketing and development. She will work with the JFCS board on the “Friends of JFCS” campaign and the annual event that is now a 5K/10K Race With a View in the spring. Lise will also work with the development staffs of the AJCC and the Jewish Federation. Please feel free to give Lise a call or stop by to welcome her to her new position (EXT 235). Congratulations to Johanna Valencia, newly promoted Office Manager of JFCS. She has been at JFCS for 5 1/2 years, Johanna Valencia starting as bookkeeper and secretary and
then promoted to administrative assistant in 2009. Johanna has taken additional training so she can continually improve her skills and her knowledge. “Her job involves many aspects of running the agency and she is invaluable to all of us at JFCS,” said Wendy. Johanna is also fluent in Spanish which has been very helpful in our making referrals for people who only speak Spanish. In addition to working at JFCS,
Johanna has taken the training and has volunteered for the YWCA Sexual Assault Response Training. She has been on call to be an advocate for people who have just experienced sexual assault. Johanna is very ambitious and would like to one day start her own nonprofit organization. We know Johanna will accomplish whatever she puts her mind to. In the meantime, we are so lucky to have her on our team.
OUR MISSION: Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Long Beach/West Orange County is a nonprofit agency that provides a wide range of professional counseling and support services to assist all individuals regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, disability or sexual orientation in facing life’s challenges.

Rabbi Shmuel Marcus
I’ve got some good news and bad news. The bad news is your kids are on Facebook right now, while you’re reading this. The good news is your kids are on Facebook right now, while you’re reading this. In essence, our technological era is both frightening and exhilarating. And if you want to stay in touch with the new world, you’ll need a Facebook account. At first, this Chasidic rabbi held his nose while plunging into Facebook. And honestly, who wants to know if Bluma and I had kosher pizza (or was it chicken) for dinner last night? But after posting “Tonight is the New Moon, i.e., a very powerful day for rebirth, think about an old idea, an old passion, perhaps, an old talent that can use a rebirth in your life.” I quickly got some positive feedback from readers in-
cluding “Rabbi, that was just what I needed today, thank you.” Slowly, I delved further into Facebook and clicked on Create an Event. That’s when I posted my first “Shabbat Dinner Party at my House” and guess what happened? I got a house full of Jews eating matzah ball soup and toasting L’chaim to the new era of Jews on Facebook. Sure, Facebook is mostly random updates about who saw what and where they may have checked in. But, soon enough I noticed that over 400 million people are on Facebook, and it’s a small world onto itself. And like the world it mirrors, the world of Facebook can use a little spiritual light every now and then. So, I started posting on Fridays “Candle lighting time for Los Alamitos is 7:XXpm.”
Thinking of trying this at home? Firstly, on Fridays you can go to fridaylight.com and click on the “when to light” icon on top of the page. Next, you’ll see a box to enter your zip code, go ahead and enter it, hit submit, and boom, you’ve got the exact time for lighting the Shabbat candles in your area. Make a Facebook post with the Shabbat Candles information and now you’re a guiding light in the new age of social mitzvah networking. Also, video sharing is a big deal. Facebook is one of the top ways to go viral. So, find your favorite Torah video on YouTube and hit “Share” just below the video, that'll share it with all your friends. My personal favorite is TorahCafe.com. I search for new thoughts and ideas and once I discover a nice video, I share it with my Facebook friends.
The next big thing is Facebook Rabbi Shmuel Marcus for causes, votes, donations, marketing of ideas for change. It’s all on Facebook. But, I like to keep it simple and post “Mazal Tov to my Hebrew High students.” Or “Come see me July 4th at the Kosher Deli Booth at The Base in Los Alamitos.” But, if you want to know if it was kosher pizza or chicken we had for dinner last night, you’ll have to find me on Facebook. Search for “Shmuel Marcus” and hit send friend request. Rabbi Marcus, is the director of Chabad in Los Alamitos/Cypress he and his wife, are the founders of the Hebrew High of Los Alamitos and JewishCypress.com.

God has many names in the TaNaKh and the rabbis came up with many additional names. In the middle ages, philosophers and kabbalists strove to make sense of the plethora of divine names in ways that have different implications for the ways in which people encounter God in their lives. In this workshop we will explore biblical and rabbinic passages that set forth various divine names. Suggested donation $72, RSVP to info@pnaior.org 562364-5154.

Discovery Science Center In a time when school field trips are going by the wayside along with art and music programs, Hebrew Academy fourth graders were able to enhance their science studies with a visit to the Discovery Science Center. The students thrilled in the many innovative ways science facts are brought to life in an environment that captures the students’ imaginations. The following is a report about the experience by the students in their own words. We went to the most awesome museum ever, known as the Discovery Science Center. One of the best things on the first floor was the earthquake machine. By the way, we gave this machine the “Nobel Prize” for the best thing in the DSC. The tornado machine made an actual tornado, but don’t worry, it did not tear up the place. Another awesome thing was the bed of nails. Don’t worry, the nails don’t hurt! We loved the “Gross-ology” exhibit. It was gross, but awesome! One of the best things to do in the exhibit was to shoot the “booger gun”. You shoot green balls into giant nostrils. We learned about the digestive system in

the “Gross-ology” stomach slide. You slide on a slide into a stomach, just like food does. There is a spiky wall, where you push your body onto the moveable spikes, created a picture on the opposite site. There was also a ball that flies in the air allowing you to control jets of air. And of course, we all really liked the rockclimbing wall! Part of the second floor was all about the science behind the sport of hockey. Some of the things that were there were a real zamboni machine, a broadcast booth for sportscasters, and two games that allow you to shoot goals like a real player, and block shots like a real goalie. There was a hurricane machine and a virtual volleyball game. The students ended their DSC visit by participating in a “Balance of Nature” presentation.
Every Thursday morning when I pull up outside the H.A. Preschool, I hear my 2 year old daughter's gleeful cry "Morah Chanie". I started frequenting the weekly Mommy & Me classes almost a year ago and since then I'm pretty sure it's her favorite day of the week. She happily jaunts toward the open preschool classroom that is filled with smiling little faces, and takes a seat at the table next to a new-found pint-size friend, eager to get her hands on that sticky Challah dough. Thursdays have quickly become a cherished time for me, a time

The Jewish Art Calendar Giveaway The foundation of Jewish holiday observance, and community life, is based on the Jewish (lunar) calendar. As Jews around the world kick off the Jewish New Year, the Hebrew Academy has announced that they plan on put-
where I get to interact with other moms and trade baby babble for adult conversation. It's a place where moms can share the joy of motherhood experiences, relate to each other's parenting issues, and problem solve together. There's just something so special about being able to hang out with other moms, chat, snack, and give your child a wholesome morning at the same time. And of course, your child won't likely realize you're having a good time as well, they'll be so caught up in the Jewish circle time songs, learning about the holidays, involved at the arts and
ting deluxe Jewish art calendars in local homes for the New Year of 5772, free of charge. "The Jewish Calendar is one of the first steps in promoting Jewish life in our community," says Rabbi Yitzchak Newman, dean of the Hebrew Academy, "People can choose where they will celebrate, but we need to inform them of the dates of the holiday." The free calendar giveaway will offer local Jews the local candle lighting times for Shabbat and festivals, plus a short description about each of the holidays. To order your free calendar or to advertise your business call Jenny Kdoshim at EXT 209.
Silver Gan Israel invites the entire community to a grand Summer Night Festival on Wednesday, July 20th from 5:00-6:45 pm. The evening is sure to entertain children and parents alike in a friendly Jewish environment. “Camp families feel that Silver Gan Israel imbues their children with a love for Judaism coupled with a nurturing atmosphere,” said Sender Engel, the camp director. “With so many options; transportation, hot lunches, extended care, various day options and more, the SGI experience becomes one that
will fit into any family’s lifestyle and schedule.” The ACA accredited camp program runs through August 27. At the festival, the parents will enjoy kosher food and schmoozing while some out of the ordinary entertainment will keep the children glued to their seats. Moon bounces, raffles, games and rides are also on the agenda. Our ever popular
