COMPROMETIDOS CON EL PLANETA Y LA SOCIEDAD

Nuestro propósito es hacer de este planeta un lugar mejor para vivir y convivir en armonía de la mano del arte, el cuidado de la naturaleza y el bienestar de las personas. Por ello, nuestra labor se fundamenta en tres pilares que direccionan nuestro trabajo: solidaridad, integridad y creatividad, pues estamos convencidos que con estos valores podremos dejar una huella en el mundo.

Si bien el eje de trabajo de The Collector’s Club Art Gallery es promover a los artistas de manera innovadora y accesible para dar a conocer su trabajo, también consideramos necesario e importante contribuir con causas sociales y ambientales. Es así que parte de los fondos recaudados están dirigidos a apoyar a la Fundación Mingas por el Mar, un proyecto de educación ambiental que busca concientizar a las personas sobre el impacto negativo del plástico en nuestro planeta y en nuestra salud, para ello la fundación organiza charlas, conversatorios y jornadas de limpieza en playas con diferentes comunidades de la costa ecuatoriana para separar la basura encontrada, reciclar y reutilizar lo encontrado. Su fin es inculcar en las personas la importancia de cambiar los hábitos de consumo, reduciendo el uso de plásticos desechables e implementando una cultura de reutilización.

Además, Mingas por el Mar también se vincula al arte, pues dentro de su gestión se organiza diferentes talleres a través de los cuales se busca crear nuevos objetos y arte con la basura encontrada en sus diferentes jornadas de limpieza.

El arte nos une, nos vincula y nos permite hacer de este mundo un lugar mejor para vivir.

COMMITTED TO THE PLANET AND THE SOCIETY

Our purpose is to make this planet a better place to live and coexist in harmony hand in hand with art, the care of nature and the well-being of people. Therefore, our work is based on three pillars that guide our work: solidarity, integrity and creativity, as we are convinced that with these principles we can leave an impression on the world.

Notwithstanding that the work area of The Collector’s Club Art Gallery is to promote artists in an innovative and accessible way to advertise their work, we are also mindful of the need and importance of contributing to social and environmental causes. Thus, part of the funds raised are aimed at supporting the Mingas por el Mar Foundation, an environmental education project that seeks to raise awareness about the negative impact of plastic on our planet and on our health. Therefore, the foundation arranges talks, conversations and cleaning days on beaches with different communities on the Ecuadorian coast to separate the garbage found, recycle and reuse all that was found. Its purpose is to instill in people the importance of changing consumer habits, reducing the use of disposable plastics and implementing a culture of reuse.

In addition, Mingas por el Mar is also linked to art, since within its management, different workshops are organized whereby they seek to create new objects and art with the garbage found in its different cleaning days.

Art unites us, links us and allows us to make this world a better place to live.
