ASSOCIATION From the General Manager

November? Are you kidding me? I guess it’s true when they say “the older you get, the faster time flies.”

Management has been busy this last month with the finalized budget and with new projects. We have installed new drinking fountains and we’ve

Leann Blue, General Manager

received bids for other projects below. These bids will be presented for board approval between October and November. • Demolition of the water fountain in the Anacapa breezeway (begun in October). • Bocce Ball turf replacement: Waiting on vendor to provide proposal. • Courtyard fountains retile: Waiting on vendor to provide proposal. • Fitness center new cardio equipment: Bid received, will be presented for Board approval in November. • New carpet in the fitness center: Bid received, will be presented for Board approval in November. • Fitness center: Flex center wood floor resurface.

• Tennis courts resurface: Approved. • New Visitors Management System: Approved. • New front and back entrance gate equipment. • Management is receiving ideas for the remodel of the

Fitness center locker rooms and bathrooms. These will be presented to the Board once received. Management is discovering that vendors are backed up, which means it may take a little longer to get a project completed than anticipated. It would appear that everyone is getting back to normal and catching up on projects. I would like to remind all residents to not ride your bicycle on the sidewalk. This is a dangerous practice, and I would hate to see someone get hurt. Please remember dogs must always be on a leash while out on HOA property. I understand that it is good for the dog to run and get exercise. However, for the safety of all our residents, as well as our fur-babies, it is safer to keep them on a leash.

Have a wonderful November, a wonderful Thanksgiving, and remember to stay safe, stay healthy, and please be kind to one another.
