Food Truck Mondays
Dates: Monday, November 8 Monday, December 6 Anacapa Parking Lot Time: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
If you’re looking for a dinner time treat on a Monday, come on down to the Anacapa parking lot and partake of offerings that will feature street food concepts of Asian fusion, Cajun and Creole, Korean, Mediterranean, Mexican, Southern Soul food, Thai and, of course, pizza. A community eblast on Thursday before that Monday will alert the residents to which truck will be in attendance. Many trucks will allow pre-order of menu items. Credit cards are accepted.

Corte Bella’s Annual Veterans Day Dinner & Dance with DJ Keith Fowler
Date: Monday, November 11 Santa Barbara Room Time: 6:00 PM (doors open at 5:30) Cost: $35 per person
Corte Bella’s annual celebration will recognize those among us who have served as members of all branches the United States military. An inspirational program, with posting of colors and service flags and more, will be provided by the Corte Bella Vets Club. Come honor the military contributions of many of our Corte Bella residents. Enjoy a wonderful dinner from the Anacapa. Keith Fowler, Corte Bella’s own, will provide music for your dancing pleasure. Tickets are on sale in the Fitness Center;

’ s Christmas Angel tree will be at the Corte Bella Fitness Center from Monday, November 15 to Monday, December 13.
Pick an Angel from the tree which will include the name and age of each child in need in the Phoenix area and a list of that child’ s Christmas dream gifts! Bring your unwrapped gifts for that “Angel” with the original Angel tag attached and place it under the tree by December 13!

Verde Canyon Train Ride Day Trip
Date: Saturday, November 13 Bus Trip to Verde Canyon SOLD OUT Time: Bus departs at 10:00 AM; returns at 7:00 PM Cost: $130 per person (includes transportation and train ride, 1st class coach)
Take the historic train ride from Clarksdale to Perkinsville and back, a 4-hour journey through 100 years of history. Ride the train in 1st class coach with a complimentary glass of champagne and appetizers. Cash bar on the coach. Bring your camera and a jacket (it’s cool up there!) Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree
Date: Monday, November 15 to Monday, December 13 Fitness Center Christmas Tree
The Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree will be ready on November 15th for you to select your Angel, a disadvantaged child who is waiting for you to make their Christmas a magical one. Each Angel hanging on the tree provides a child’s name and age along with a list of their Christmas gift dreams. Bring the unwrapped gifts back to the tree with the original Angel tag attached before December 13th and the Salvation Army will take care of delivery. Here’s your chance to make a child’s Christmas a very special one. Every year, Corte Bella is amazingly generous – please help continue the trend.
Wine & Dine Around the World series begins its global tour in Argentina with a dinner emphasizing wine education, great authentic wines and perfect regional food pairings. The signature food of Argentina is beef served with a chimichurri sauce. Chef Dan has his own twist on what will be a very satisfying meal. Seating is limited. Corte Bella’s Sunday Cabaret with Aaron Nelson

Thanksgiving Day Brunch Buffet
Date: Thursday, November 25 Anacapa and Santa Barbara Room Time: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM Cost: $48 per person; children under 12 –½ price (tax and gratuity not included; non-alcoholic beverage included)
Enjoy a delicious and effortless traditional holiday fest with your favorite holiday delights. Brunch will feature fresh seafood, soup, salads, carving station with turkey and strip loin of beef, pasta and fish entrées plus all the fixings and traditional side dishes as well as an omelet station. Tubac Arts Festival and Mission San Xavier del Bac Day Trip
Date: Saturday, November 27 Bus trip to Tubac Time: depart 7:30 AM; return 6:00 PM (movie and refreshments on the return trip) Cost: $44 per person (includes transportation and tour of the mission)
Travel by comfortable motor coach to enjoy the annual Tubac craft festival with more than 100 booths with vendors from around the country offering artwork, paintings and sculpture, crafted wood, leatherworks, glass and much more. Visit the Mission San Xavier del Bac, the White Dove of the Desert – a national historic landmark, founded in 1692 by Father Eusebio Kino. This is the oldest European structure in Arizona and remains an active church for the local Tohono O’odham reservation.

Hanukkah “Festival of Lights”
Dates: Sunday, November 28 to Monday, December 6
To celebrate Hanukkah, the lighting of the menorah will occur in the Anacapa each sunset (5:15 PM) from November 28 to December 6. On Sundays and Mondays, the menorah will be moved to the Fitness Center for the ceremony.

Tree Lighting Buffet and Concert
Make your reservation today for this Corte Bella traditional kickoff for the Christmas season. The Corte Bella chorus will be there to perform holiday favorites like “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and much more. The Anacapa will have a delicious buffet for all to enjoy. Santa will be there to help light the tree. Choral performance is at 5:15 PM in the social hall and again at 6:00 PM in the Anacapa dining room, to be followed by the lighting of the Corte Bella Christmas tree. Corte Bella will travel by bus to the Phoenix Zoo for this most cherished Valley holiday tradition. The Zoo Lights features millions of twinkling lights, animal sculptures, and much more. Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree
Last Day – Monday, December 13
Please note: This is the final day for you to bring your donation of gifts to the Fitness Center for that special child who will only have Christmas if you step forward to grant their Christmas gift wishes. Corte Bella has 200 Christmas Angels on the tree. Please do your part to make sure our community gives each of these deserving children something under their Christmas tree and in their Christmas stocking this year. Thank you for continuing the Corte Bella reputation as a truly generous and caring community. Bring in your unwrapped gifts with the Christmas Angel tag securely taped to the gifts. Thank you!
Wine and Dine Around the World
The journey around the world of wine and food will continue with this second event of the series. The country and its wines to be featured will be announced so be looking for an eblast. You’ll be treated to perfectly paired food and wine during your four course meal. Mark your calendar now for this not-to-be-missed dining experience. Tickets sale date will be announced, no refunds.
Cooking with Chef Dan
Chef Dan will be demonstrating something wonderful for the holiday season. Make plans to attend this class to enjoy learning new culinary techniques and to savor the “fruits” of Chef’s labors. Menu theme will be announced at a later date. Tickets will be

Corte Bella’s Annual Christmas Golf Cart Parade
Date: Wednesday, December 15 Begins in the Anacapa Parking Lot; Around the circle (plus the San Ramon Christmas street) Time: 5:30 PM line up – parade starts at 6:00 PM Cost: Free
Decorate your golf cart for the season and join in the fun for a real Christmas holiday parade in Corte Bella! Use your imagination to create something special to share with your community. Parade route will encompass the “circle” and through the San Ramon Christmas streets. There will be a prize and bragging rights for the best decorated golf cart.
