Board Talk

I’m hoping that all of you had a great summer. We look forward to our seasonal residents returning this fall if you’ve been away. As most of you probably know, the board of directors did not have meetings in July & August, but rest assured your board and committees have been working diligently on many things that will surely appeal to all of our residents.

The next workshop will be held on Friday 10/22 at 9:00 AM and the board meeting is Wednesday 10/27 at 10:00 AM. We look forward to seeing you all. As you know, our general manager Leann Blue has been working diligently on our behalf with budget season and Improvements to our community. By the time this article goes to print, our “story boards” will be present for viewing of the Anacapa expansion project. If you haven’t been there to see the boards, I encourage you all to check them out.

It’s good to see that our lifestyle events have returned from their COVID vacation. Residents are dancing, laughing and meeting in our social hall, and traveling again to distant places. Thanks to Pam and her brilliant talents, she has brought back our fun lifestyle. Pam’s original goal was “ To take Corte Bella events to the next level”. I think she has done just that! TUBAC FALL ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL AND SAN XAVIER DEL BAC MISSION TOUR

Tubac is the center of Tubac Presidio State Historic Park.

Tubac Arts & Craft Festival features 100 arts and crafts booths with vendors from around the country. The festival features a range of artwork from fine painting and sculpture to fun and functional ceramics, skillfully crafted wood and leatherworks, and shimmering glass. We will be visiting the San Xavier del Bac Mission on our way to Tubac.

This event is a wonderful venue for holiday shopping with many one-of-a-kind handmade items.

The bus will depart Corte Bella at 7:00 a.m. and return at 6:00 p.m.

Tickets on sale Sunday, October 10 after 2:00 p.m. at the Fitness desk. HOA account, check and cash (exact change). Tickets are non-refundable.
