eachers and administrators rolled out the red carpet for seniors this year, literally. Like many other things, the senior prom was a casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic, but staff at Jackson Hole High School wouldn’t let the seniors finish without a party. With a red carpet in front of the high school, staff served a three-course meal cooked by Food Service Director Wes Clarke’s crew, and they brought the Laff Staff, Jackson’s resident improv comedy crew to provide the after-dinner entertainment. Dressed to the nines, students sat around circular tables, still socially distanced, while teachers in masks served the meals. Though there were still reminders of the pandemic-altered school year, students had an experience that no other graduating class has had, and one they are unlikely to forget anytime soon.
