Once upon a time at the first staff meeting of last year, it happened. Karlien saw Jhon and Jhon saw Karlien. Then they were turning around each other. Now it has been 1 year that they are together and it will last for a long time. 2 years ago when Alice was a student and Michiel was in the kitchen staff they where friends. Now that they are both in the staff they see each other a lot … Maybe too much. Everybody thinks and knows that they are together ‘cause two anonymous people saw them in the garden alone, just them … It’s already been a few days that Gery and Victoria are turning around each other, they where joking, hugging and talking a lot, everybody sees that something is happening between them. Who knows how this is going to end. A boy is falling in love with a girl, it is possible that in the beginning they where really close. But now the girl likes another boy …

London
Yesterday we went to London. First we had to wake up earlier but that was not that bad because then we had more time for shopping. Before we could get on the coaches we had to find our groups and staff/assistants. When we arrived in London my group and the group of Chloe went to the science museum which was very interactive. After that we went to a park to eat our picnic and just lying in the grass. Then we went to Oxford Street for shopping. The first
hour we could walk alone in groups from 2 or more. I went to the Abercrombie and Fitch at the time that we must be back we were going to prime mark and other cool little shops. After a whole afternoon of shopping it was already time to go back to the coach but before that we took the underground and did a little walk by the Thames and we watched the Big Ben, which was very impressive too. After that it was time to go back to the coaches and after a coach ride of one hour we were already back at Cottesmore school for a delicious meal of fries and meat. Then we got a night game and a camp fire.
Wednesday we visited London. First we had breakfast and after breakfast we needed to prepare our rucksack and then we assembled in group and we went on the coach. The ride to London took an hour. During the last part of the ride we saw many famous parts of London like the Big Ben and the Tower Bridge. When we arrived we assembled in group again and we were ready to go. First we visited the Imperial War Museum. The museum was really interesting because you saw a lot of things from WO1 and WO2 and many other wars… After the museum we had a lunch in a park somewhere close to the museum.
After that we decided that we wanted to go shopping .We used the tube to go to the shops. London’s tube was the first tube in the world and it has a really long underground track . We visited many famous shops in Oxford street (a really good shopping street) like Abercrombie and Fitch, Superdry, Hamley’s. Unfortunately London is very expensive so I didn’t buy a lot. After the big shops we went to less expensive shops. There we were free and we shopped a lot. I bought food (chocolate and candy) and drinks. In the neighbourhood there were also a lot of shows (magic shows), there were people standing like a statue and they weren’t moving, so it was really nice there. After that we went back to the coach with the tube again. The ride back took half an hour longer than the ride to London because there was a lot of traffic. When we came back to Cottesmore we were all tired but we had a really good day.

Ghost Story: Zara and Michiel
Michiel had a good time working with Zara’s class. He thought it was good and fun to make a scary story. Everybody said that it was the best one. The parents of … decided to send him to a boarding school. However, he was afraid, because he heard that a girl committed suicide one year ago. But his parents decided to leave him at the school. The following night he talks to his new roommate and- she tells him that she was the dead girls roommate. Then she told the story. And soon after that strange things begin to happen. After the event he dies unfortunately and we find out that she is the killer.
A Midsummer Night’s Scream
The story tells about two couples. One of those couples is Victor and Danielle. They have been forbidden to be together because they come from different classes. They run away in the woods so they can live happily ever after but the bad queen doesn’t want mixed-class relationships in her kingdom. So she tells her servant Puck to turn Danielle into a vampire. Puck obeys her and turns Danielle into a vampire during the night, while she’s sleeping in the woods. The next morning the couple wakes up and Danielle, thirsty for blood, kills Victor. The other couple, Arthine and Oliver, have problems too. Arthine thinks that Oliver doesn’t like her anymore. The bad king uses that to kill them. During the night, Puck has to “fake kill” Arthine. That means that it looks like she is dead… When Oliver wakes up in the morning he thinks she’s dead and kills himself because it’s not worth to live without Arthine. But when she awakes a bit later, she sees Oliver dead and commits suicide too. So, to recap, three of them are dead and one of them turned into a vampire. But then the good king and queen say that this nightmare lasted long enough and wake the four lovers up. They wake up and realise it was just a nightmare1

Brighton
# Here are some brief descriptions of how the day of different students went.
Math
After breakfast we made packed lunches for our journey after that we had sport I had to choose between swimming, basketball and yoga, I decided for swimming which was very nice. We played a few games and then it was time to get ready for our visit to Brighton. First we went to the pier of Brighton where they have a lot of cool attractions and other cool things, then we got to make a visit to the pavilion that was a little bit nice after that we finally got started with shopping first we did a few shops a cross the streets the one pound shop and then the shopping centre where there were a lot of cool shops after that we have been there for a hour we leaved the shopping centre because we had only 45 Min till it was time to get on the coach again we shortly visited the pier again, did a few games inside the pier and then it was time to get on the right coach and going back to Cottesmore school .
Camille We woke up at the same time as the other days, Cottesmore review
and lesson 1 were put together. After we had sports, which we couldn’t play the sport we wanted because it was raining, so some of us did relaxation. Relaxation was very nice we did massages and after that we took showers and we left Cotttesmore for Brighton! First we went to Devils Dike for lunch and we enjoyed de view. After that we went to Brighton and visited the Royal pavilion, which was for king George IV and inspired by Chinese culture. We went shopping and then went to the fair it was very nice. We went back to Cottesmore and ate supper, after that there was workshop and tuck-shop.
Thomas After breakfast we prepared for lunch and then we went to Brighton.
The ride to Brighton took half an hour. On our way we stopped at Devil’s Dyke, there we ate our lunch. Pieter, Olivier, Thibault and Dieter. When we were in group we first visited the pavilion of king George IV. He had a really beautiful and big house in Brighton. The inside of the pavilion was really nice and special, you didn’t know where to look first. After that we went shopping for a long time. There were many good stores, like the one pound shop where you could buy a lot of things for only one pound. We also visited the pier, there were a lot of people on the pier and there were also really big attractions. There were also a lot of seagulls at the pier and was really irritating.

# Interviewing the Sports Workshop How hard do you train per day?
It depends per day but each day becomes easier because we train a lot and after that you sleep very well.
How`s the group?
It`s a really nice group but it`s a really active one.
Do you think you are going to have a fan-club soon? Why not?! With training the boys get a lot of muscles and girls fall for that!
Interviewing the “Around the World” Workshop What do you like about this workshop?
It`s a really relaxing workshop and I like making bracelets and detective stories. And of course I love my mates!
What country are you visiting right now and what are you making? We are in Peru and we are making bracelets.
What`s your favourite country that you are going to visit during the workshop?
I like Peru for the bracelets, Japan for the fortune cookies and of course Belgium for the chocolate!
