MID-YEAR 2018 Overall Market

The Star Valley, Wyoming market remained strong in the first half of 2018. Transactions were up 5% and total dollar volume was up 25% from $59,559,985 in the first half of 2017 to $74,182,875 in the first half of 2018. The average and median sale prices increased as well.

Total dollar volume increased substantially, up 45%, from $43,087,763 in the first half of 2017 to 62,479,655 in the first half of 2018. Inventory decreased 13%, but average and median sale prices continued to increase, up 15% and 10%.

This segment of the market showed increased activity, particularly the condominium segment. In the condominium segment, average and median sale prices increased, up 94% and 66%.

MID-YEAR 2018 Building Sites

The average and median sale prices were up, 50% and 6% respectively. There was a large increase in total dollar volume, up about 425%, from $319,000 at mid-year 2017 to $1,675,001 at mid-year 2018.

Building sites experienced a 13% decrease in number of transactions, and total dollar volume decreased by 36%, from $13,345,422 at mid-year 2017 to $8,414,219 at mid-year 2018.
