There is a slogan in Al-Anon, called three C's. "I did not cause alcoholism. I can't control it. And I can't cure it." I went to Al-Anon to find out some ways to cure my qualifier at that time. Soon after I joined, I found out that in AlAnon, the focus must be on me. How funny the process was! Can you imagine, you were looking for some solution to solve some problem, then, after you walked around and around, asked again and again, you suddenly found out, you are the answer, at that moment, you looked up, you saw the mirror, you found you standing there, it said, "Yes, you!" That changed the game. That moment transformed my life. That knowing to focus on me makes life simpler for me. Many people choose to stay with their qualifier. I chose different path. I left. I rarely have arguments. Most cases I am aware that I raise my voice and I can end the argument by starting lowering my voice or just shut up on myself. I am not here to talk about three C's regarding alcoholism. I am here to tell you in our life, we can meet with situations related to the three C's. You can use the same principle to apply when you encounter them. If you are challenged, think about that. Ask yourself, "Did I cause it?" If not, you can tell yourself, "I did not cause xxx. I cannot control it. And I can't cure it."

This awareness is so important. It moves you to the next step and it reminds that you are the only one who is responsible for. You are the only one who can make your life as full as possible. Not the qualifier or anyone else. If they cannot contribute to your happiness, stay away from them, stay away from drama. Life is too short to waste on negative energy. I am thankful that I went to Al-Anon for about half a year. It made me understand better what my mentors at the Six Figure Mentors said. Life is amazing. There are many dots. You may not see them connecting now, while you must believe, you will see them connecting somewhere along the path. Our JJ always said, if you are taken away everything, there is only one thing they cannot take away from you, that is how you respond. So true!! Have an amazing weekend!
