Well, whatever you think, I still want to share. I usually see people off. If they come to my place, I go out and see them off till they leave. If they leave the elevator, I see them off till the elevator door closes. Sometimes, when I visit at friends, I still do that, if someone leaves earlier than me. It is a bit odd because I am not the owner. This came to one story I read many years ago. A went to visit a business person B. When A left, B always saw him off to the elevator, till the elevator came and the door closed. B left only after the elevator door closed. No when the elevator door opened. It was only a few seconds, maybe a minute. The difference between those seconds is A could feel warmth. Now, I want you to picture this and imagine that. Would it bring you any different feeling? I would.

I started applying this in my life as much as I can. Further than that, I developed my habit. If someone is leaving, I stand up, I walk them to the door/gate, I see them off. If it is in the building with elevator, I walk with that person to the elevator, wait till the door opens and closes. Sometimes, I would walk further down to the first floor. In China, I could walk with that person to the first floor. If she is a senior, I could walk her to the bus stop. What does this habit teach me? 1. I learn to respect people more. For me, this habit really teaches me respect. 2. I gain more time in communicating with people, sometimes. 3. I want him/her to feel warmth, when that person is around me. He/she only can receive love from me. 4. This is a bit personal. I am in deep loving with relationships. I am old enough that I care a lot about quality. I treasure the moments with people. Because I do not know when would be the next time I will see or meet with that person again. Sometimes, many times, we hear the story: When we turn around, it could be a life time. What does it mean? It means, many times in our life, we do not have another chance to talk with that person again. When you get this in your mind, you do not take moments for granted. That is my deep loving for every person that I encounter every day. I want myself to be kind every day, without regret when I go to bed. I do not allow myself to hurt you in any shape of form. If you feel hurting from me, it could be misunderstanding, because I never do that with purpose. I do not have time for those trashy words or behavior. 5. I think that is a good way of ending when someone leaves. People like to get together for party or fellowship time. The beginning is always exciting, expecting. What about the ending?
