What flow would look like for you? This is a very personal question. It has nothing to do with you. I am just writing this to talk with myself. If you would like to answer this question, please get out a piece of paper, a pen, start writing. What are the core values I have in me? Integrity, honest, committed, kind, caring, considerate, thoughtful, loving, true, punctual, understanding, gratitude, communication, listening, loyal, self discipline.
What are the things I want to add in my life? Happy, being loved, brave, independent, passion, success, fulfillment, friendship, confident, surrounded with more positive people, understanding from Chinese family. Happy. This does not mean I am not happy. I do not show out much of excitement on anything. I accept whatever happens on today. Then I go with flow. I have more excitement when I travel. I am surprised and amazed at the things or people I meet. They open my eyes and they teach me different things in life. Then I know life could be this way, that way. In order for me to visualize somethings, I actually want to see and feel some of them. I want myself to visualize any thing that could make me happy and remember them. I want myself to spread the happiness and teach people how to pursuit happiness. We have the ability to regain our power of happiness. It is inside us. Being loved. Being loved unconditionally and having someone to share with our life and to walk together in life journey. I can just imagine how blissful it is to be held or hold each other in bed when I go sleep. He holds me from back whenever,wherever, maybe in kitchen, maybe we sit by the beach, maybe we look at the stars at night. We talk about dreams and we help each other to make them happened. We cook, see movie, walk, go to gym, clean the house, take care of our parents or siblings. We go to 1/4
friends’ party or some events. We just always learn and grow. We are together whenever down or up. We have each other and we trade nothing for each other. A strong and firm relationship. Brave. I understand that when we build a boat, we know it is safe to park by the bay. But a boat itself is to sail, even it could be risky and dangerous at times. I need to add more courage in me. The first thing for me now is not to scare about driving by myself on a long trip. I got my driver license while I was in China (six years ago?). It was totally different than driving in the States. I had no courage to drive in China. I was always timid when I grew up. I did not remember that I was encouraged to be brave. I was shy for most of my life. So, seeing myself changing on this is amazing. I want myself to go further bravely. Do not let anything to stop me from being brave. Independent. More independent on financial part. More money will be a by-product and a nice tool. So that I can do more things and serve more people. Being independent also means before I marry, I want myself to be okay with being single. Not to settle down with any one that could be just fine. He has to be my first choice. If I catch up with myself questioning “why I have not had him in my life yet?”, I am going to talk to myself this, “be more patient, guess what? He has the same why in his mind.” Then trust the timing. Passion. Every day I will know I am doing what I love to do. I use my skills to help as many people as I can, to help them grow to the best version of themselves. Success. I know that I finally succeed. I look back and look around. I am thankful for the team I have and support me every day. I love my team and I care for them in my daily life. I have more friends, quality friendship. They love me to death. Fulfillment. I finally expand my values and get the peak of my life. I can say, I am so full! Friendship. I have many friends now. I like them and I accept who they are. I understand them while they understand me too. I always can find someone that can show up for me when I need them. They love me too, not only by words, but also make me feel that I am soaked in their loving! Confident. This is one thing I am learning. I guess this is the most important one that I am adding in my life. Some day, I will feel more confident in myself. I would not question when I hear people said to me “you are awesome”, or ” you are amazing”. Right now, I try to understand: why people think me this way? What I did to make them feel this way? Surrounded with more positive people. Every day I will feel inspiring. They always encourage me, inspire me by who they are, what do they do in this world. Understanding from Chinese family. This means that my parent, special my mother, together with my brother, they will understand me and accept who I am, with whom I will marry. 2/4
