Thanks Air China, I got to watch the movie “Florence Foster Jenkins”. The only reason for me to choose it was Meryl Streep. It was about 111 minutes. I can do this. While I watched this after I finished my reading, working and some plan listing. By the way, who does not like Meryl Streep?
I am glad that I watched it. What did I take from this movie or what impressed me?

Florence was a true lady with courage and passion. She had disease that most people could not survive for many years and she made it, because she lived for music. “Passion”, did you notice the word again and amaze by its power that it could give to someone? Question for you: What is your passion?
Florence respected people, even they were small people when they met her. She was generous. Not only that, she respected them. She loved her husband when he was not famous. She went to visit her piano teacher while she was in his neighborhood. She washed his dishes and only asked him to play piano for her. “Respect”. No matter what position I am/I will be, I must remind myself of being humble and respect every one.
Florence did not sing well. People mocked at her, laughed at her. She never ever quitted. She put herself there, in public. She had concert, including one in Carnegie hall. That concert was her offer to 1000 soldiers, with free tickets. Those soldiers laughed at her. They laughed at someone who was intially generous for them. Thank God, she had the support teams and support friends, on top of that, she was so brave to stay on that stage and executed her performance. My heart hurt when those soldiers laughed at her and I cried. People needed to understand why and show more understanding. Action for you today: when you are an audience and someone performs on the stage, could you show them some respect? When you want to laugh at someone, could you think about their other chapter and how they come so far? When we show more understanding to people, we appreciate each other more. Agree?
Florence supported friends. It was her genorisity that also brought her more. When we support our friends without thinking about return, we eventually help ourself some along the life path. I do not know how. I want you to have the faith. God is going to put someone in your life when you need help. I also want you to keep doing the same for others, to help and support friends or even strangers. Pass on. Can you do that?
Florence had team. Her husband and her piano teachers were her team. When she doubted herself and could not make the step to stand on the stage before the Carnegie hall, her team told her that “we can make it!”. We are not meant to walk alone in this life. When you find yourself a team, team up, value them. They give you something beyond yourself. My success team in the Six Figure Mentors gave me supports. They are in my life now. I am thankful to have them. 2/4
Final thought was about the whole movie. It is team working. When I see many things nowadays, I see differently. I value more on any videos or team working. It was more than it is presented. If you have a chance to join our community, with you learning the marketing skills, you will understand more about what I am talking.
