Not Dealing With Trading Company For Valve Business? – Part 2 I love communication.
Further to blog yesterday. Share with you the further reply from the customer: “Good morning Jie Zheng, xxx Asia was created to handle some duties that xxxx cannot due its location, one of those activities is to search, develop and handle the operations between xxxx and the manufacturers. xxx Asia is the trader; it is useless to pay commissions to a third party when we in xxx Asia have all the resources to deal directly with the factories. Regards” 1/4
This is how I replied him: “Your email is noted. Communication is appreciated. I see you are concerned about the commissions to a third party. Yes, xxxx is quite famous, you do not need to work with us because you have all the resources you can get. I just have different perspective. If you are concerned about price, you could check with us after we quote. I could also send your information to the factories and ask them to contact you. I will help in the process and ask for my commission included. You might not know.
I do not choose this way. The factories cannot always satisfy the needs and could be on or off in quality, sometimes depending on their situation. We cannot always represent the factories as their sales office, if they do not improve or if they stop growing, or if they lower the valve quality. I myself is a branding. I do not sell things that I personally would not want to buy. And I keep growing.
Another thing, it is also about collaboration. The factories, many of them, cannot understand well about the value of service or up service. With our collaboration, just like I went to the marketing event and meet with great people, I can team up with some of them. I did. And I believe there will be more to come in the future. We are just like their sales guy. The difference is we find our business, they do not pay us in the front. We get the commission when we have the business. We go our way to serve the customers. We help communicating during the process. By the way, do you really think you always deal with the factories directly? There are not always how you think if you do not know. A trading company can name their name which just sounds like a factory. They can also put their name in their factory but quite independent from the factory. They can set up an office in the factory. Not here to tell you all the facts. Just hope you could be wise enough. Be open when you have a chance to meet with new people and new supplier. Do not focus only on the facts that they are a trading company, instead, focus on the value they provide you. “
