American Dream Will Come True Serie : Sound Plan
This is something I am working on too. Many years ago when I worked for my former boss, when we talked about my ex, my boss told me that he did not understand my ex and how he could do that as a man. He mentioned to me that I should buy a house. I refused his kind suggestion. I was so stupid. That was between 2004 and 2007. The rest is history, every body knows what happens if you own a home in China. At that moment, I refused to put myself into mortgage by myself. I did not want to become a house slave. I did not think about investment or I did not have the insight. So I did not make that plan. Did I regret? Yes, a great deal‌ Now, I just have to accept that.
My boss also pointed out something he saw what I lack of: I do not plan my future. Do you want to know how negative I was? I thought, if I was the only one to supply the family, I do not care about the future. I would wait till he wakes up and helps me support the family. How stupid was that? No wonder I failed big in that marriage. He did not wake up or help, but I left.

Yes, if we want to achieve something in our lives, we must have some plan, or you can say, map out, maybe just a few items that you put on a piece of paper, so you have some idea what you need to do to get to where you want yourself to be. I bet many of you can do better than me on planning. Think about your daily life, for example, you want to prepare a wedding by certain date. First, you list the major items you need to do, the people you need to contact, when is the due date. Then you work on them in more details. Here you go, it is the same to make plans for your dream or goal. Brain storm the lists that you think you need to do, that you could do. The first step is to have some idea. The second step of a plan is to go into more details.

Do not be afraid of plan failing. That is quite normal. Remember Thomas Edison, how many times did he try before he found out the right one? 10000 times! So when we think about that, our mistakes mean nothing. And, to be quite honest, we only need a sound plan to get you successful.
