Netbook Rules and Policy Using the Net books is a PRIVELEGE that can and will be taken away if they are not used in the appropriate manner. You will create a CONTRACT for the NETBOOKS that must be followed or you will face consequences.

Ready Respectfu l

You should be in your seat, already starting to log-in and have your agenda book out when the bell rings. You should be READY to LISTEN for Directions. • Treat them with care do not remove any stickers; mess with the start menu or other software. • Take only your ASSIGNED Net book at all times. • Carry them with two hands when walking around the room. • You may only download with the TEACHER’S PERMISSION. • You are not to have food, drink or gum near them. • Do not shut-anyone else’s net book down it will result in loss of a net book for 1 week. • Use “school appropriate” language and topics at all times.

Responsi ble

• Make sure to use synchronize to CONNECT to the TEACHER. You are violating a School and County User Policy if you break this rule and can face serious consequences. • You may use headphones or any music sites only with the permission of the teacher. NO MUSIC with any substitute. • If you get lost ASK 3 Before ME, and use the written directions to help. You will be learning A LOT but to truly understand it you need to TRY. • Put your net book away in the RIGHT location. Plugged into the NEAREST PLUG. DO NOT YANK plugs out of the cart. • Make sure to save your WORK.
